Lovely little house, very welcoming and clean. Gorgeous bathroom and everything you need in the kitchen. Beds soft- good for some but not for others however. Thank you

A nice little cottage in a great location within walking distance of town centre.
Good value for money but could be improved by some simple adjustments like a new mattress in the master bedroom and a working oven!

Whole house was really clean. Mattress on the double bed is VERY uncomfortable as it sags like a hammock. The twin beds are very comfortable. The road outside is noisy in the morning so take ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Very handy for shops and restaurants with a fab pub down the road. Nice big lounge with comfy sofa. Note there’s no freezer or dishwasher if those are essential for you! The TV didn’t work at all which was annoying when it was pouring down and it was slow getting a response from the owners. Apparently there’s an engineer going a week after we left to sort it out! Alnwick Playhouse is good for films/shows.

Cottage was well equipped and just like the pictures. Living room was very comfy. Kids bedroom was great with good single beds. Location was very central, but still quiet, plenty of shops and restaurants very close by.

The switch in the bathroom was broken and not fixed during our stay, made night time interesting. The main bed was a bit small too, felt smaller than a double.

Joey’s Cottage is a great location for walking in and around Alnwick. The beds were really comfy. The bathroom light wasn’t working but everything else was great.

Really lovely small house. Bathroom in particular to a very high standard. Great location to walk to anything in Alnwick (we were keen on going to the castle and went to several good restaurants) and a short drive to the A1 if you want to go further afield.

Surrounding area a little downmarket and necessary to park a few streets away. Would be nice to have an ensuite and a smaller bathroom when with the family.

I think this is a new property to Airbnb. It was excellent value for money. The house is beautifully decorated and well located. Just a few tweaks needed to make it perfect - 1) ensure everywhere is clean (I had to clean some of the cutlery and clean the bin on arrival which you don’t expect) 2) instructions would be handy on how to use the heater in the outhouse and 3) the double bed needs a new mattress as it had a dip in the middle. Just a shame as it could be perfect with a few changes

The house locates in a quiet place. The rooms are very clean and the kitchen facilities are complete, suitable for families who enjoy cooking. It's about 10-minute walking from the castle and only over 100 meters away from the bus station. Next to the station is a supermarket, which is very convenient for buying daily necessities. There are many small shops and good restaurants on the nearby street. Due to the incorrect address on Airbnb, the house management staff also sent email reminder to avoid making mistakes, which was very considerate.
There are many photography works in the room, capturing various beautiful views of Alnwick, which is fantastic. The signature is Darryn Wade.
