Everything needed was supplied. Health sauna was big added bonus. Detached secluded property

Sofa-bed a little uncomfortable.
25 minute walk from town centre but on bus route.

Very clean and free parking, lots of cooking facilities and came with patio. Great communication from hosts.

Bed was on the small side for a double and not very comfy and it was very hot. Being in a cul de sac in a cabin was a weird vibe but nice and quiet.

When I arrived at the cabin it was in the middle of a residential area, not a particularly nice one either. When opening the cabin was very happy with how cosy it was but once in the bathroom & bedroom it was incredibly dusty and lots of cobwebs. There were black mould/residue around the edge of the bath, behind the sauna was thick with cobwebs, the curtain hanging on the bedroom door was stained. The area was noisy from 7.30am with children playing football and shouting until late in the evening. I tried to make contact on the day of arrival and day of checkout. Only now have I received a response, 7 days after check in and 5 days after check out. Will not be returning and have asked for some level of compensation for the less than satisfactory stay.

Great and quiet place very close to the beaches.
Beautiful outdoor space where we enjoyed breakfasts and launches.
Very quiet in the evening, very, very cosy place!
Definitely recommended!

Private parking, good bathroom facilities, nice outdoor seating area and a small conservatory/breakfast area, quite spacious for 2 people, good kitchen (although no dishwasher), quiet area (occasional rumble of trains), not far to walk to a "Loop" but stop, or only half hour walk to the sea front. Had character.

Foam mattress (but good firm base), it was a small double with linen sizes not matching . Untidy garden (quite spacious but paved). Strange system for paying the £250 deposit which didn't work properly for us but the agency made sure we got in anyway.

Booked on behalf of my parents who drove to Broadstairs from Rep of Ireland. Sheltered outdoor area and entrance hall were most popular parts of the property. Blue Fox rentals were helpful and access instructions worked perfectly. Kitchen/ living area was nice, bathroom spotless and bedroom bigger than expected.
The area is quiet and secluded with only some noise from passing trains.
Many thanks to Juliet and Blue Fox for their help with making my parents’ stay an enjoyable one.

Very "tired"kind of place which was not homely and just somewhere to put your head down . This was reflected in the price.

Very nice, quiet place with garden I loved sitting in. Sauna is a little small, but still perfect for resting. Bath have some issues thought - sometimes it turn off by itself and do not want to turn back on for a few minutes. Neighborhood is nice and polite. They have a few children running around, but usually they aren't too noisy.

Great value for money! Well equipped, good location (easy 25 minute stroll into Broadstairs). Infra red sauna and whirlpool bath are a nice touch of luxury! The bed was comfortable and the whole cabin was very cosy with a nice outside space. Our only issue was the sofa, which had a broken leg and was therefore a little uncomfortable to sit on for long periods (it was quite a rainy week so we spent most evenings on the sofa, taking advantage of the Sky TV package). Private and peaceful indoors and out, we would definitely stay again!

We liked the little cabin and it was comfortable. Bedding well laundered, kitchen equipment good, good standard and good to have mosquito netting and the 2 settings of window opening.

On arrival great. Sounded perfect from description. But on closer inspection there were things we were not happy with.
a. There was no bedding under sofa bed as we had been informed.
b. The sofa bed, in the living area, was positioned in such a way that when pulled out it would have blocked access to bedroom. So at midnight on arrival back from evening entertainment, us to sisters in our 70s had to start moving furniture around and sorting out bedding. Not what we expected from the price we payed. Then we had the inconvenience of the bed in the way for the rest of our stay.
c. We were informed the beach was a mere 12 minutes walk away, where as it was at least 30. Had we known that we might have chosen differently.
d. Broken blind above kitchen sink.
e. The outside area felt very unkempt and dirty. But more importantly, 2 out of three veranda chairs were broken, one of which could have caused a nasty accident.

Broadstairs is a lovely seaside town with plenty to do and see. We had a fab time in the cabin, which was very conveniently located a 10 min drive from the beach and 4 mins from a large supermarket. The bed was super comfy, and the smart tv in the bedroom was great! If you're planning on self-catering, just be aware that lots of the pans don't work on the induction hob. However, there are lots of fantastic eateries nearby.

We had a lovely stay in this log cabin; it felt like we might have been in a mountain chalet. It was more specious than we expected, and the kitchen was delightfully well equipped with decent pots & pans, cooking utensils and even a slow cooker. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway. Thank you!

We enjoyed the cosy feel of the wooden cottage and it felt very relaxing to stay there. It was quiet and contained in its own private plot, so you felt very much at home.
The facilities were just as shown in the photos and the cottage was well equipped for a short or longer stay.
The bed is quite narrow, and could be tight for a couple above medium sized.
Sauna was excellent (enough space for one) and we enjoyed it very much.
Location is in a small village with a small Coop supermarket a short walk away. There are also pubs and takeaways close by and the bus stops not far from the accommodation. We didn’t have a car and this was no problem for us.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Malcolm

14/10/2018

This property has the wow factor, the host has thought of everything & much more as standard to make the stay really special.
As soon as you walk in you are in awe at what they have done, it is so stunning, they have made it a home from home.
You also have a few takeaways/pubs/local store within a 2 minute walk of the property & the big supermarkets are around 2 minute drive away.
I would book this property again without any hesitation.
