Convenient location
Clean and modern

Very sterile with cold white lights.
Overgrown and rubbish in front of property

The location was perfect and was so comfortable! Parking in front included was also a plus! Will definitely come back!

This is fairly basic accommodation, but it was spotlessly clean and brilliantly located. We were up for Graduation, so prices were high due to demand - so ‘value for money’ was less attractive than one might hope (though still better than local hotels!). This is a great base for visiting Durham.
What stood out was host communication, ease of access and all the arrangements: they were really good at communicating and making sure we knew help was available.

This was a very well-located house and it is bigger than the photos imply. However you never see the frontage and garden as access is from the rear, which is a shame, although the dedicated parking spaces are very helpful. The kitchen is functional but limited in its equipment. Really helpful check in instructions and easy to access which was a relief when we were delayed and didn’t arrive until after midnight. Great house to stay in when visiting Durham.

Delightful little cottage, it was super convenient for walking into town. The rooms were much larger than expected and everything was emaculate when we got there. We didnt need any help from the host thanks to their clear instructions, but they were always engaging throughout our stay to let us know they could help if we needed anything.

Positives: Great communication from host. Absolutely as described and as seen in the pictures. Very clean, well heated and functional. Super location for visiting the city and university.
The furnishing, equipment and lighting is functional but spartan. Not quite enough seating for 4 people to relax comfortably.

Great location, easily walkable into city centre, clean basic accommodation.Would benefit from some upgrading of bathroom, replacing non working dishwasher and more home comforts.
Has potential to be a great place.

The place is extremely well located as Durham town center is walkable. There a a number of pubs and restaurants that are very easy to get to. Communication and check in was very good. I would describe the place as practical and functional. It has most of the basics you need for a short stay but missing many touches you find with stays around this price point.

Excellent central apartment with great kitchen and bathrooms. Very modern and exceptionally clean.
Parking behind building was easily accessible but my only worry was availability as it was on a first come first served basis. Prefer my own space guaranteed rather than having to find alternatives. My gripe but others may find this trivial. Would stay again.

Had a lovely stay, host was responsive and even gave us a second key when requested. The place was spotless, and had parking which is great for Durham.

An ideal location for visiting Durham town. A spacious flat, even if a bit spartan. Two good sized bedrooms, a living room and a reasonably well appointed kitchen. Comfortably accommodates 4 people (both bedrooms with comfortable double beds).

Extremely pleasant place to stay. Lovely, spacious and clean cottage. Freshly painted with some brand new electrical appliances. A big bonus was a parking space. Only 10 min walk to the Durham cathedral. Dan who is managing this cottage was very helpful and sorted our little problems very quickly. Very comfortable beds. We will always book this cottage in the future if we go to Durham.
