The Space
The large open plan living, dining and kitchen area has a grand and opulent feel. At one end of the room you’ll find the cosy living space which has an impressively large original window, luxury sofa and flat screen TV. At the other side of the room, there is a fully equipped kitchen, complete with all the modern appliances to make this apartment a home away from home.

From the hallway, you’ll find the bedroom which has been beautifully decorated with premium furnishings and a large, comfortable bed. A luxury shower room is located next door.

Neighborhood
Named as one of the best cities to visit, Durham is a beautiful and charming area within the North East. Known as the ‘perfect little city’, Durham has the best mix of everything and it all blends seamlessly. It retains its medieval heritage but it also has a modern and vibrant twist. It boasts lush green landscapes but it also has busy cobbled streets with independent shops, bars and restaurants.

Durham has plenty of history within its walls. One of the most spectacular historic sites is Durham Cathedral. Constructed between 1903 and 1133, this towering building is a shining example of Norman architecture. The cathedral is now the oldest surviving building with a stone vaulted ceiling of such a large scale.

Getting Around
The Cathedrals is located in the city centre with cafes, restaurants, shops and bars right on the doorstep.

Durham train station is a 15-minute walk from the apartment so nearby towns and cities can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Durham. Hop on the Arriva 6 route to visit Barnard Castle or the number 22 which travels through Seaham and Sunderland.

We had an excellent stay in the flat. It was comfortable, brilliantly located and had everything we needed as a couple for our stay. The flat is secure, clean, nicely presented and easily walkable to the centre of Durham. The bedroom was quite bright, however we both sleep with eyemasks on so this wasn't a problem for us- something to bear in mind for other potential visitors. Overall, we would heartily recommend the flat for couples visiting Durham.

??This is a lovely property; bright, spacious and modern with all the mod cons needed for a great break. The location is fantastic - it is situated on a quiet, tucked away street, yet just a few minutes walk from the centre of Durham. The host was friendly and helpful, and there were some particularly nice welcome items in the kitchen...including a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates, which was a really nice touch.
