Located a short distance from Media City, Trafford Park and the Trafford Centre, this three bedroom property is the perfect base when staying in the area. Perfect for family staycations, getaways with friends, and corporate stays, the dog friendly Alma also has quick access to Metrolink and bus routes.

The Space
Alma has plenty to boast about as it is well-equipped for holidays and business stays in Salford and Manchester.
LIVING ROOM
The property boasts a spacious living room. Enjoy pure relaxation here after a day of exploring the area or following a busy day at work. There is ample seating in the living room and a Smart TV so it’s the ideal spot to cosy up in the evening.
KITCHEN
Fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware, the kitchen has everything you could need to make the most of your self-catering stay.
DINING ROOM
Also located on the ground floor is the dining room. Here, there is a large dining table with two matching benches.
BEDROOM AND BATHROOM
Head upstairs to the first floor and you'll find two bedrooms along with the family bathroom. Both bedrooms benefit from neutral tones and comfortable double beds. Spacious and modern. the family bathroom in the property includes a walk in shower, WC and wash basin.
The second floor bedroom also boasts a double bed, along with work space and ample storage space. The space also boasts an ensuite shower room.
GARDEN
Outside at the rear of Alma is an enclosed, grassed garden, perfect for little ones and four-legged friends.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Neighborhood
The town of Eccles is located within the city of Salford in Greater Manchester. A historic market town, it is well known nationally for the Eccles Cake. You'll find plenty of independent cafés and retail outlets to enjoy during your stay. The town also has excellent transport links so you can visit the rest of Manchester easily.
Salford is a modern, vibrant city located on the outskirts of Manchester. Here you’ll find the perfect combination of modern buildings, beautiful waterways and stunning green areas. Visit Salford Quays and find yourself engulfed in the Imperial War Museum North, or head to one of the many galleries and immerse yourself in truly inspiring artwork. You will find MediaCityUK in Salford Quays, the largest media hub in Europe. It is also home to BBC’s flagship Northern Headquarters, which is said to be the largest media hub in Europe.
Getting Around
Eccles Metrolink station offers easy access to Salford and into Manchester city centre where you’ll find train routes to locations all across the UK including London, Leeds, York and Glasgow. A number of connecting routes can also be found from the multiple Manchester stations so getting to other locations around the UK could not be easier.
Manchester Airport is a short 20 minute drive away from Eccles.

So we booked here while we were working in the area <br/>It was close to our job and suited us to a T<br/>Close to centre and old Trafford <br/>We got lucky and got an early checking ( thanks Charlie )<br/>How’s was great had everything we needed <br/>We would def book her agin if working in the area and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Nothing<br/><br/>The heating wasn't working and the place was filthy dirty following what looked like a previous weekend party due to all the beer bottles and cans left behind. We left the following day having booked for 4 nights. Complained to both Host and Stay and Booking.com who neither have sorted a refund out despite photographic evidence given.

It was very clean, had everything we needed for up to 6 people. Honestly we weren't there very much but when we were it was comfortable, we made toast and tea, had showers, and slept. Easy.<br/><br/>When I made the booking in August 26th in advance of our November 2nd arrival 25% £142.43 of the booking was taken in advance, with the remaining balance to follow. The remaining balance £427.37 was taken two days later. So over 2 months before the stay commenced. This seems unnecessary and somewhat outrageous, we had made the obligation to stay and deposit was paid, so it was unnecessary to take it so early. It could easily have been taken a week prior to arrival or even on arrival. It was not adequately explained that this would be the schedule of payment and while it probably stated that payment would be taken in advance of arrival two months is more than excessive. <br/> <br/>Then we had to pay a further £10 to setup the deposit payment of £250 with a third-party. That deposit was taken two weeks before arrival and was returned in full two weeks after our stay. <br/> <br/>Over the course of our booking in addition to the expected booking.com confirmations we received over 14 emails from Host & Stay about the booking. This level of communication is excessive and unnecessary for people who regularly stay in rental properties. I have also been added to the Host & Stay mailing list which I did not consent to.

The location was great for Trafford Centre and nearby supermarket. Lovely dining room and spacious bedrooms. It was good value.<br/><br/>The first set of stairs are the steepest I have ever come across - my size 5 feet were hanging off each tread! The sofas were not very comfortable and there was only one tv in the lounge. At least one more in the master bedroom would have been great.

Bedroom were really good and spacious. Kitchen have most the cookware essentials. Neat and Clean.<br/><br/>All beds were spring, soft and very uncomfortable to sleep on. Kitchen area was so packed and tight. There were no stoppers on any doors.

A perfect place to stay for a weekend away with friends. Has everything you need with very spacious rooms and only a 20 minute taxi journey away from the city centre.<br/>Constant prompt contact from initial booking right up to check out day with full details and recommendations. <br/>Would highly recommend.

Overall the stay was great! The neighborhood was very quiet and in close proximity to everything we wanted to do. We had a rental car so I’m not sure how it would have been had we not but I was not paying any attention to public transportation while staying in Alma house. <br>The house was modern and appeared to be updated. Everything was nice and new. What was disappointing was the quality of the mattresses. While they appeared to be new they were of poor quality. The box springs could be felt in all of them. The stairs to get to the bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit steep and inclined for my elderly mother and aunt. Challenging but doable. There is a backyard, but because it was full of overgrown weeds we could not utilize it.
