The Space
Moorland Cottage is a traditional, two-storey property located just off the high street in Kirkby Stephen. With all local amenities right on your doorstep, the holiday home has everything you could want for a stay in the area, whether that be visiting the Yorkshire Dales or the Lake District National Park.

In the living room you’ll find a comfy sofa which provides that home-from-home feeling you just can’t get in a hotel. Kick off your shoes and relax. From the lounge window, you have a view across the quiet road to the traditional Cumbrian houses opposite. Turn on the flat-screen Smart TV and you’ll have a wide selection of steaming apps to choose from.

Fancy something to eat, or maybe a brew? The shaker kitchen can be found next door to the living space, so there isn’t far to go when you need to grab a snack or prepare a meal. Appliances aplenty are found here, including a dishwasher as nobody needs to be washing up during their holiday!

From the kitchen, there’s direct access to the sought-after garden space at the rear of the property. Here you can soak up the peace and quiet, enjoy a morning coffee or a late afternoon glass of something bubbly.

When you need to get ready to go out or head off to bed, the property's modern bathroom suite has a spacious bathtub with overhead shower, plus a vanity unit was basin and WC.

When sleep calls, both bedrooms offer luxuriously relaxing surroundings, one with a king-size bed and one with twin singles.

Lovely house with great amenities, located in a beautiful village. Unfortunately the experience was somewhat let down by wifi going down on the second night and it was not sorted before we departed after a week stay. It was 4g wifi that ran out of credit which it seemed like we were expected to pay to top up.<br/>Contact made with host and stay 3x who have called back once but sorted nothing out. Very disappointed by the lack of contact and lack of resolution. Wifi is not everything but when there's no live tv and everything on there needs wifi and there's a restless toddler, it is difficult to keep her occupied after a day of hiking or when it's raining outside.
