Burnsyde Beach House

Location, views, space, cleanliness - ideal for x6 adults and x1 dog. No issues parking more than sufficient for 2 cars could potentially accommodate 3, just need to be cautious parking/leaving as on a busy bend. Would definitely stay again with friends/family.<br/><br/>Had x1 pregnant adult who found it a tight squeeze for the shower; therefore anyone who is slightly larger may find same. There was a large bath which could be used so not really an issue.

Having access to a real person (by phone) to assist us for checkin. Gorgeous views, cute home with stylish furniture. Lots of natural light. Nice patio and garden in back. Very close to good restaurants, bars, and attractions, many within walking distance. Well appointed kitchen, nice big soaking tub. Plenty of nice, high quality linens provided, and plenty of pillows, as well. Spacious living area with a big TV. Two off-street parking areas. When the waves are up you can clearly hear the ocean from the house.<br/><br/>The cleanliness of the unit was not up to par, with several different issues, but "Host & Stay" was very responsive and seems to be taking an interest in making improvements in the cleaning service. The worst of the problems were the unpleasantness of the smell of the downstairs bathroom, and the mould growing in the upstairs shower. The promised amenities were not all provided. A window cleaner suddenly appeared at the windows one morning (without knocking and without advanced notice) while one of us was in the kitchen (luckily, not undressed!). TV difficult to figure out (no guide provided). There is a slight tripping hazard when going between the kitchen and main hallway (floor height difference). Bathroom lighting insufficient. But, as I said, Host and Stay is very proactive followup about these issues.

This review is offered honestly. <br/>The cottage is in an amazing location. 90 seconds walk to the seafront, the pier and the amazing Seaview Restaurant (book well in advance); the Ship Inn, the woodlands and the southern cliff-top path and the main town are further away - 5 minutes. You do overlook the car park but it's not remotely noisy. Inside, the property is modern clean and really spacious, as per pictures. <br/>However we did feel there were some maintenance and upkeep issues:<br/>1. Both security lights are broken outside <br/>2. The extractor fan upper bathroom does not work.<br/>3. The upper bathroom sink was very slow to drain (part blocked)<br/>4. You get issued one J-cloth and no scourer pad and no washing up liquid, with which to clean the pans.<br/>5. The mattresses are pretty much end-of-life (esp upstairs) give a very uncomfortable night's sleep. <br/>6. The large sofas look comfortable but they are not - the cushions are worn out<br/>On the plus side there is a large freezer (not listed on airbnb)

Brilliant house and gardens in brilliant location. Definitely recommend it and hope to come back.

Anyway all in one it was a pleasant stay as the weather was nice and we have explore the location but I don’t want to think how it would have been if it was raining all the way with 2 small kids ! House is beautiful .

Beautiful views from all windows. Lovely spacious kitchen. Large sitting room. Only criticism was the skirting boards were dusty and scratched. The en-suite upstairs didn’t have adequate lighting to see your face. The steps could be improved from the driveway to the sunroom, too deep and not easy to negotiate. Disappointed there were no wicker chairs/cushions in the garden to relax in the sun, as photographed. Couldn’t find one dishwasher tablet, for £90 cleaning this should have been available. Overall we had a lovely time at Burynside.

Our stay at the beach house was wonderful. The place was clean and in a great location with an amazing view of the beach, which is a few mins walk. We miss the place already and will be back again.

This is my 4th visit to this property and although the property itself and location is outstanding, there were a few hiccups this time around and as a result will be unlikely to return. The checkin code was not provided and the host was unresponsive. My 92 year old mother was left standing at the door for 40 minutes after a long day’s travelling. I asked before our stay at the property if it had a dvd player, if not I would bring one. I was assured it had a working one but I found when I got there it wasn’t working. I had to spend holiday time driving to find one. There were no batteries in remote controls, only one roll of toilet tissue in the bathroom, one dishwasher tablet etc. This meant part of our holiday was spent grocery shopping. Nonetheless we had a great stay at this wonderful location. Just disappointing customer service from the host.

The house is very tidy and clean and located at a superb place for fossil hunting little ones. There are also restaurants and pubs very close by.<br/><br/>The lack of Soap and toiletries.

The view made this property, plenty of space to relax.<br/><br/>Finding it initially, it took several attempts (up and down the hill), also contacting the agent who really wasn’t helpful, so.. the property is directly behind the tomahawk restaurant, the driveway is concealed so take it slow and you should find it.<br/>No lighting outside which made coming home in the dark and rain a bit treacherous, I fell and took the skin off my knee, bruised arm and leg badly. No condiments in the kitchen, sort of got used to staying in places where there is a welcome basket waiting for you, for the price we paid I would have expected at least salt and pepper.

Bed was uncomfortable I think it was broke & sofa a bit worn apart from that all good

Beautiful beach house with everything needed . Spotless property with easy check in and check out details .. should probably state when booking that you need to pay a damage bond before then send you relevant details or maybd just add the £25 to the booking price . But overall worth the money and will look to book again if in the area .

Fabulous location looking out to sea and the town is within walking distance, lovely bungalow that was of good size, beds a tad uncomfortable but would book again

This was a superb property in a superb location. Saltburn is beautiful and in this house you can appreciate it to its full glory!

We parked up at this fabulous seaside home and the car never moved again! Apart from a few slight issues which have been resolved, we walked along the beach daily with our little dog, took the funicular Cliff lift a couple of times, but mainly just sat and looking at the sea and sandy beaches, watching the world go by from the amazing sun lounge . This has to be one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had as a family and we will definitely be returning in the spring .

Perfect family weekend. We will be back.

Location good, parking good<br/><br/>Bins smelled v bad so couldn’t have door open or sit out as wind was wrong direction. Road noise v bad all night with boy racers up and down the hill and round and round car park. Top floor bed was uncomfortable. Needs decoration. Communication from host and stay very poor, they sent us access codes after we had legt home so could not print off. Then they send again at 3.30am

As older holidaymakers maybe more information on the steep walks surrounding the house would have been useful.

Beautiful location and stunning views (even in Winter) in the conservatory section. Inviting lounge area, was perfect for 4 adults (2 couples) - we felt very at home.

I wish we could have stayed longer. <br/>We sat in the kitchen with mugs of tea watching sunrises, the stormy sea, people happily walking their dogs. <br/>Easy drive down to Whitby, and great location for coastal walks. Lots of fab tests and pubs in walking distance all with an interesting history. This was the most cleanest of places we’ve ever stayed. Will definitely book again.

Check in was easy and good communication with host & stay. House is lovely, very big, child friendly, clean and cosy. Less than one minutes walk to beach, views from house are amazing. Both kids and dogs had a great time. Would definitley stay again ?

A very refreshing stay. So near the beach , shops and restaurants. Very comfortable, all our needs were met, including the dog !

We were revisiting Saltburn after many years (my grand parents had a caravan in the town, spent lots of family time in the late 70s early 80s)<br/><br/>I was pleased the town had retained its charm, and felt more prosperous than at the height of cheap package hols abroad) <br/>The valley gardens, prom pier and funacular were really lovingly looked after.<br/><br/>The new cafes and restaurants are a welcome addition.<br/><br/>The property location is fantastic, 5<br/>Mins walk into town, less than 2 to the beach. The view to the cliff head is epic <br/><br/>The interior of the property is well designed and thought through the f&f are contemporary and in good order. <br/><br/>Host and stay and management company were friendly and easy to deal with.<br/><br/>We wouldn’t hesitate recommending to family and friends.

Fabulous location. The decor and furnishing’s were lovely.<br/><br/>Not much I didn’t like. <br/>It would have been helpful if there had been a gate that shut off the side of the house where there was a low wall and a steep drop. couldn’t leave the dog or children unattended in the garden as a result. a slightly later checkout would have been helpful. 10 am is rather early to be up and out when you have to organise a family.

Comfortable, spacious, well equipped property in a lovely location with some nice outside space.<br/><br/>Twin beds are very creaky even with the slightest movement, so sleep not great. <br/>(The double beds were very comfortable) <br/>Small round window in bedroom, it was very pretty but needs a covering as light came in in the early hours and woke my daughter

This is our third stay at this house so it’s obvious we love it! It’s also our first time staying in the summer and it’s the best place to be in summer (particularly during the hottest temperatures ever recorded in the UK!). The uninterrupted views are incredible, house and garden beautifully styled and comfortable. The claw foot bath is heaven. We loved being able to walk everywhere and just parked up the car for 5 days. Any queries we had were answered almost immediately., very friendly and would definitely recommend staying here.

Really good location with a 3 minute walk to the beach. Great views while sitting in the kitchen / conservatory area. This property was so easy to find and had plenty of parking. The garden looked lovely and there was plenty of space for sitting and enjoying the scenery. The garden was enclosed too which was a real bonus for our dog. The views over the sea were incredible from the sun lounge. The bedrooms were the perfect lay out for us and the property was clean, warm and very comfortable. We will definately return.

Check-out time should be 11 o'clock, not 10. As there was a prescribed "list" of things you needed us to do that morning, there was not enough time to go for a walk on the beach or through town before we had to leave. I've never once had to remove my own rubbish from an Airbnb location, so to pay a £90 cleaning fee, but we had to clean? Completely unacceptable. The person (not professional cleaning service) who came to clean also arrived early. We all felt rushed out. I'm perplexed what she was going to clean and why it would take from 10-3 to do it. The location seems great at face value, but it is difficult to park during busy hours and aside from the beach and small town, we had to drive 15-20 minutes for daily activities.

Overall this is a great holiday home location which is located 1 minute from the beach and some nice walks. The home is well decorated and has room for 3 cars easily which is a great benefit. <br/><br/>The rooms are comfortable and the downstairs bathroom is great. Lots of space in the home.<br/><br/>The only one niggle was the en-suite bathroom only had one light so it was rather dark. <br/><br/>Overall defo recommend :)

I’m not one to normally leave bad reviews but after reading others had the same trouble back in 2019 and the property manager hasn’t yet addressed the issue I felt compelled to warn people. The beds are horrible. We didn’t sleep the both nights we were there. Yes, the house is amazing. It was clean and you cannot fault its location. But what’s the point of having such an amazing house if you cannot have a decent night sleep? The mattress was hard and lumpy and the beds were small - so much for a luxury stay! We would have booked here again but we will look elsewhere due to the bed situation. And what is most disappointed is that there are reviews complaining about this and nothing was done.

Lovely location, and a really bright, clean living space to spend time in between visits to the beach or forays into town. We were very lucky with the weather but it can get very hot in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom on a sunny day so make sure to keep curtains closed where you can and get windows open once the sun moves round. Much used, steep road right next to the property can also mean noisy engines but as a base of operations located right by the beach, cliff top walks and near bars and restaurants it’s a great place to stay on the whole.

Stunning location and beautifully modern property. Very spacious, hardly used the lounge as spent most of the time in the sun room watching the world (and surfers) go by.<br/>We had a 2 year old and 3 month with us. Solid walls so no noise transfer, especially to the upstairs bedroom. Planned ahead and had supermarket delivery an hour after our arrival. Excellent bus service to explore the local area. Would love to return.

We spent 3 nights at this beautiful property, with a view like no other we have stayed in. The bungalow was spacious for our family of five, plenty of room (and a strong Wifi connection) for two teens and a ten year old. Stunning walks on the doorstep and great independent eateries and shops close by. Host&Stay were on hand throughout our stay and were quick to resolve problems with the heating and hot water on our first night, providing a short term fix within an hour of contacting them followed by a plumber's visit to fix the boiler the following morning. I hope we will be able to return to this beautiful part of the world in 2021 and would definitely stay here again. Thank you and Happy New Year.

Very nice large property with a lovely view of the sea. One or two small things wrong, much was made about cleanliness particularly due to covid but the fridge had not been cleaned properly and there was a piece of cellophane food packaging stuck to one of the shelves. One set of blinds in the lounge area was stuck half way up the window and could not be lowered and at another window the blind could not be raised at all. There was a bit of a mix up as to where the keys should be left on departure (conflicting messages from Stay Yorkshire and TripAdvisor) but otherwise the stay was fine.

Burnsyde is a very comfortable home in an envious location. The rooms are well sized and comfortable, the kitchen/eating space is well designed and perfect for a family. We loved sitting and watching the world go by with the binoculars provided.

This is an excellent place, deceptively large inside and stylish. The heating system is second to none as is the location. It is literally on the doorstep to the seaside. <br/><br/>Will definitely be staying again soon.

I have stayed here a number of times now I think this was my 4th visit. It feels like the exceptional standards have started to slip. I love the house, the location and it’s facilities but the smaller things have noticeably stopped happening. I have reviewed before and the key parts of that review no longer happen. I really enjoyed my time but after this visit I have chosen to book elsewhere which I am gutted at as this was always my go to place.

We love this place for the reasons other reviewers have said. We also really welcomed the addition of extra seats in the sun room. However, I agree with the last review about the beds being very uncomfortable and noisy- I even bought a mattress topper this time but not much better.There was no internet connection on the tv this time so we couldn’t watch movies boo. Less towels this time too and I know sand gets trodden in but the floor needed a good wash. Just seems that they feel they don’t need to try as they are booked up, so don’t- shame.That said, this is a beautifully appointed holiday home with modern, homely features and stunning views. Ample parking for 3 cars too. Just needs a little TLC

This was our second stay at Burnsyde in Saltburn. We love Saltburn and there is also so much to like about Burnsyde. The main attraction is the position on a hill overlooking the beach. The viewing area in the kitchen is perfectly placed and it is amazing how much you can see going on from this lovely vantage point. It is more entertaining than watching the TV. The garden is also lovely and enclosed which is a plus for dog owners. Three parking spaces is very rare for east coast properties and enhances the stay even more. The decor inside the house is clean and in good taste. So why only three stars? Burnsyde has one major flaw. The beds are small and the mattresses are very poor quality. Unfortunately, this makes for a serious lack of sleep, which leads to tiredness, fatigue and grumpiness! Not only are the mattresses extremely uncomfortable, they are noisy too, so that when you move or rollover, this makes noise which is not good for your partner. After our initial stay in July 2018, we private messaged the owners to tell them how the poor quality mattresses had adversely affected the enjoyment of our holiday. We even provided information from 'Which' magazine on better quality mattresses, at affordable prices. So it was in hopeful anticipation that we arrived for our second stay just recently. How disappointed we were. Same mattresses, and same poor sleep quality. We decided after two nights that a better nights sleep could be had on the sofas. I guess the management feel that because Burnsyde is popular, and is always booked up, that they don't need to improve the beds. We personally feel short changed and have just cancelled our booking in 2020.

Great house with a sociable layout. The ‘terrace’ room was the highlight with its lovely sea view and we also managed to sit out in the garden for lunch even in the last week of September. Facilities very close at hand too.

Stayed here for our daughter’s wedding at the spa hotel. Beautifully decorated & well thought out . Light & airy with great views. Only wish we could have stayed longer .

The location of Burnsyde is excellent in terms of proximity to beach and town and there are great views of the bay. There are many different seating areas outside and in, although the sun lounge would have benefitted from some blinds. The living spaces and bedrooms are spacious and well appointed, although the beds were too hard for our liking, hence the four star review. Saltburn is a lovely town with plenty to enjoy, both during the day and evening, and the house is a great base for a family holiday.

Overlooking the beach and just a short walk to the centre this place was amazing. Loads of little touches that made it wonderful - nespresso coffee capsules, chocolate bars and a fully stocked wine chiller. Clean beyond clean and everything was top notch. The owners had thought of everything and it was lovely. I’d revisit in a heart beat.

Amazing 5 days my sister and I and our 4 kids Loved everything about this magical place . Close proximity to the beach for great novice surfing , stunning accommodation, great facilities, beautiful interiors , we had absolutely everything we needed throughout our stay . Saltburn-by-the-Sea is wonderful a little gem the views and sound of waves from the Beach House. Great local shops and restaurants, the Lobster @ SEAVIEW was divine . Thank you our family enjoyed an amazing relaxing and truly wonderful family holiday . Everything was absolutely Perfect For us , highly recommend and hope to return ThankYou

The most amazing views...

Absolutely beautiful location. I could sit in the conservatory and watch the waves for hours. We came away on a girls trip so didn’t make much use of the garden but it would be perfect for people with children. Would love to go back with my husband and children as it’s perfect for a family.<br/>Everything was spotlessly clean with everything you could need. <br/>Thank you very much for having us.

Stayed here midweek for two nights last month and absolutely loved our stay.Great location right by the beach, with amazing views out to sea. So nice to be a 1 minute walk to the beach. One of the cleanest beaches with a long expanse of sand. Also, near enough to town for supermarket and nice cafes.The house itself is very spacious. I stayed with my partners family and we all had our own space. The living room is really homely and large. But we spent the majority of our time in the kitchen/dining space where the windows spanned the entire way across so you could see the views across the beach and cliffs.The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very modern and clean. We would definitely stay again.

Just spent another relaxing weekend in this fabulous accommodation. Despite bad weather the views never fail to amaze us and the accommodation is so warm and well equipped. Can’t wait for our next stay in December.

We had a fabulous stay at Burnsyde. The house is so well equipped, beautifully furnished and the views are as amazing as we expected. Saltburn is a delightful town and seeing Santa at the cliff lift was an added bonus. Have already rebooked to return!

Our stay at the beach house was nothing less than perfect! An absolutely stunning house, the attention to detail in every single room was just outstanding. The location of the house was fantastic, waking up to the view of the beach was brill. The beach house provided the perfect location for a get together with friends and we are already planning our return next year. The house is just beautiful and the communication with Emily was excellent. The quaint town of Saltburn is lovely, great food, cocktail bars and a ride in the Victorian cliff lift is essential for any visitors! I can’t speak highly enough of the beach house and look forward to staying again :)

This is a beautiful modern bungalow with every facility you could ask .Stunning views easy access to beach and pier. Restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Good parking Quality furnishings and bedding. Situated on the bank down to beach.

Stayed the weekend for a family birthday and had an amazing time. The property was fabulous above expectations. Everything you needed was on hand, the property was clean , modern and fresh. It is actually bigger inside than it looks from the outside and I wished we had been there longer. Amazing scenery and waking up to the sea views and been a very short distance from the beach was perfect. The owners were amazing and went above and beyond . I left my mobile behind and without hesitation they ensured I got it back. They hand delivered it to me in Whitby, awesome service. Overall delighted with our stay and would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for the weekend with my fiancé, our son and two friends. The apartment was well equipped for cooking and the kitchen/dining area is a really generous size.We were pleasantly surprised with how big it was once we got in! The beach was lovely for a stroll, but we loved the accommodation so much we didn’t go out half as much as we’d planned to. The perfect break!

This beach house is perfectly equipped for a relaxing stay. It is modern, clean and spacious enough to fit six people in comfortably. You couldn't stay any closer to Saltburn beach than this property. It was perfect to take our dog for plenty of walks. We couldn't recommend this house any more. It was everything we could have hoped for to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday.We will hopefully return soon!

This place is the best in Saltburn. The location, the facilities, the cleanliness and the views. One thing that I always remember is how fresh the bedding and towels smell. I know that sounds weird but they smell great and it’s those little things that do it for me. The facilities are great everything you could ever want. The location is fantastic, dogs welcome, the decore is as it looks in the pictures, clean, well presented and homey. I would most certainly recommend this place and at a very reasonable price. Excellent establishment!

This house is situated in the middle of all you will need in Saltburn. The beach, with all its attractions, is only 50 yards down the hill and the centre of town, with all its individual shops, is only 75 yards up the hill. You could have a wonderful relaxing holiday without moving your car. The Yorkshire countryside is well worth seeing, if you can drag yourself away from all that Saltburn has to offer, especially the coastal road to Whitby.Burnsyde Beach House is very well equipped with all you could wish for. It was exceptional clean and welcoming for our stay.The only item which caused us a problem was both the sets of outside steps leading to the front door. If a hand rail was installed on one side of either of these steps it would have made our holiday perfect.

Everything was fantastic - the house was beautifully designed, very clean and well appointed, the position was great and even the sun shined for us ! That we have booked two more breaks at Burnsyde Beach House for next year speaks for itself.

We booked the bungalow for a family birthday/late summer break and were not disappointed. Stunning interiors, fabulous location and wonderful weather. The perfect size for a small family get together. We loved both the inside and outside dining areas and were glued to the amazing sun room views too. Perfectly presented. Burnsyde Beach House is the perfect place to relax, recharge and enjoy the area. The house is stunning and has everything you could possibly need and more to have a great holiday. The dogs loved the beach being across the road and the amazing valley walk right on your doorstep. We cant wait to go back, winter, spring summer or autumn this house will be perfect for a holiday for all the family.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Burnsyde Beach House, what can I say, what a beautiful property, we had the most amazing weekend and would highly recommend the property to anybody wanting to spend time in Saltburn. The property is perfectly located for the beach and town, superbly presented and Dale & Rachel are fantastic hosts down to providing milk to get you started when you arrive. Stayed as a family of 5 adults, 1 toddler and two small dogs, plenty of room and amenities for all of us. The sun room offers amazing views of the beach. We will be booking to return next year as soon as we have sorted a date out! Highly recommended. Thanks x

Our stay at Burnsyde Beach House was perfect! Our group consisted of myself, my husband, our 2 children (girls aged 13 & 9) and my mum & dad. It is in a great location, close to the beach, with great views of the cliffs and sea. The large windows in the sunroom/kitchen/dining area mean you have the gorgeous views in sight at all times of day. The house itself is furnished to a high standard. It has a comfortable but minimalist feel to it, which makes it seem like a home from home. There is plenty of kitchen equipment if you're cooking and also cleaning supplies, toilet rolls, towels etc. We were lucky enough to have great weather and were able to make good use of the outside space which is also exceptional. Again there are the great views but also a very pretty garden with lots of comfortable seating. My daughters loved the egg chair! We had a lovely family weekend and would definitely love to go back.

This booking was one of the best bookings we have done. The location is fantastic and the town is under rated. The views are spectacular and the beach is phenomenal.The nicest thing about this booking was the attention to detail from the owners. Very comfortable, very modern, and very clean.Whether you want to stroll through town and have a nice meal or enjoy cooking a meal (local grocery store is a five minute walk) with your family, this place cannot be beaten.I hope I am fortunate enough to come back here again.

We had an excellent weekend stay for a wedding. The house is finished to a high standard with many extras. Has a great modern feel to it and the location is stunning. Not cheap but worth every penny. Nice touches like milk in the fridge and even an honesty wine rack. It's a steep hill up to the town where there are loads of nice places to eat. The beach is about 2 minutes downhill. Even on a cold day you could sit and watch the sea and surfers. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay, we have stayed in a number of luxury cottages but this is by far the best. The place is amazing and the views are Fabulous I can see why this place is booked in advance. Can’t wait to return.

We loved our stay at Burnsyde. It was perfect for a family with a dog and toddler. Plenty of space to run around for the little one but lots of nice family spaces too. The view is spectacular and the surrounding area lovely. The decor is beautiful and everywhere was very clean when we arrived. Thanks we will definitely be back!

Burnsyde Beach House is an absolute treasure overlooking Saltburn bay. It is beautifully decorated with modern interior. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathrooms are stylish and the garden has beautiful seating as well as a bbq. We had a wonderful time and will be returning again. Very dog friendly, dog bowls even supplied...next time we will bring ours as the surrounding beach is ideal. Absolutely no negatives. Rachel and Dale were helpful at all stages from the booking to the end of our stay. I would highly recommend this beautiful coastal holiday home.

Panoramic views of the beach - a perfect location for watching the world go by. The surfers provided hours of entertainment! The property was incredibly well equipped and comfortable - even binoculars were provided to help capture all the excitement happening on the beach!Beautifully presented and all the details thought through - I would highly recommend for a short break.

We booked Burnsyde as a place to go with the family to celebrate my birthday - I chose it for the views and due to the reviews. We were not disappointed and had a great relaxing weekend with walks on the beach and fish and chips from the sea view. The cottage is very well equipped and appointed with a very comfortable lounge that, if you're like us, won't get much use ! We sat in the kitchen and just watched the waves and the world go by. A very relaxing location well appointed and with a superb view. You won't be disappointed if you book here, we already looked at availability for next year!!

My mum recently stayed at Burnsyde Beach House with friends as she previously stayed here last summer with some family members. The views were spectacular, the house was clean, tidy and had everything they needed. They especially enjoyed the fish and chips from the sea view chipshop which was only a few seconds walk away from the house. She would definitely return and recommend Burnsyde to anyone visiting Saltburn!

There is nothing better than sitting in the sun room in the morning with a cup of tea and watching the sea and the world go by.The property is impeccably furnished and the location is awesome. With stunning views over the seafront from every window we could not fault this beautiful beach house. We had snow during our stay & we were cozy & warm inside with everything we could possibly need. Can’t wait to go back ?

So well thought out. Lots of space. Pet friendly. All the extras one could need. Great idea with the wines, beers and chocs and the honesty box. Views to die for, sunrises and sunsets with the most beautiful colours. The town is on the doorstep with great little shops and cafes, bars, restaurants. Wonderful beach walk along to Marske and a visit to Rose and Potter bistro was delightful. If I shall criticise anything, it would be, that we would have preferred a bigger bed. Yours were lovely and comfy, but not quite big enough for us. Also, if visiting with a larger dog, the fences/walls aren't very high on the back and the gates don't lock. Would highly recommend.

I don’t know where to start....,,,This house was furnished and decorated to such a high standard whilst still being cosy and homely. The beds were super comfortable and it was clear that Dale and Rachel wanted this holiday home to be a wonderful experience, right down to the extra personal touches. We will be recommending this property to all our friends in Australia.

I feel every part of booking was seamless... every detail was perfect.upon arrival we couldn't have been more pleased, the house was stunning a home from home for us me and my hubby plus our three little doggies we felt we could have moved in and stayed, so perfect the first place in years we can't wait to go back, helped by the perfect dry clear sunny but cold weather, the beach on our doorstep, the pub next door, the town a stroll away, a perfect walk to the side of us.... it couldn't have been more perfect.

My husband and I have just spent three days at Burnsyde Beach house and had a lovely time even in the middle of November. The house itself was beautifully designed with up to the minute decor for a clean uncluttered look but also felt homely. There was an abundance of towels etc and chocolate and wine available if you felt the urge!! Milk was waiting in the fridge which is always a godsend and having a large screen tv with sky was great for a cosy night in. Had to stay in for Peaky Blinders new series on the Wednesday !! The views are wonderful when having breakfast and I imagine it would be even more wonderful in the summer months when you could take advantage of the outdoor seating. There is ample parking and it is just a short walk up to the town or down to the beach. Rapps cafe was great for scones, coffees or evening meals too. We would definitely return and have already been spreading the word.

Excellent modern accommodation with everything you could possibly need. The views are absolutely stunning. The added bonus is that it accepts your furbabies(dogs) which was the icing on the cake for us. Everything was in easy walking distance. Location location location. Will definately be back!

We had 5 nights in the beach house and really loved staying here - the location is superb, close to the beach and shops and a close walk to everything in town. The cottage itself is lovely, beautifully designed and decorated! The garden patio is lovely on sunny days and we enjoyed using the BBQ grill a few nights. Dale and Rachel were quick to reply with any queries as well - lovely hosts. When back up next we would definitely be back - recommend staying here!

Fantastic house in a beautiful spot. Has everything you need for a very comfortable stay- spacious and really well kitted out. The owners have made some lovely touches to make it feel homely and were very accommodating - giving recommendations of places to eat etc. The sun trap terrace was great for enjoying the evening sun too. The Beach House is in a great location (access can be a bit hairy at times!). The views are tremendous and you can while away hours just watching the goings on! It's beautifully presented and deceptively spacious.

It is furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard.It is perfectly situated and has stunning views across the bay. Even the garden is immaculately manicured. It was fantastic to have breakfast in a large dining kitchen with such great views. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

This place is perfection. Every detail has been considered, the photos don't do it justice, it is absolutely stunning. The location is amazing, there is so much space and it is immaculately clean. We are already looking at when we can go back and I can't recommend it enough. We choose it for our baby moon as we wanted peace and relaxation, we had all of that but there are also lots of places to eat and drink. The fact it's dog friendly is the icing on the cake.

We were looking on line for an east coast beach house and suddenly came across Burnsyde and we knew straight away that this was the place for us. We were not disappointed. It is fabulous inside and out with the bonus of stunning views from a very comfortable sun room, in which we ate breakfast every morning while enjoying the sights and sounds of Saltburn. Dale and Rachel were very helpful through the booking process and when we arrived, nothing was too much trouble, including the fact that when we mentioned we couldn't find a teapot within hours Rachel personally very kindly brought one round to us. We used the left hand drive to park our car, driving in and reversing out, which worked for us. We will definitely return, just hope its not fully booked!

We booked this instead of the nearby hotel and so glad we did. We know Saltburn well and this house really must be one of the very best in the area. Lots of space both inside and out with dining and rest areas with views of the beach and cliffs. The standard of finish within the house is of the highest quality and there are many great features like Sky Q WiFi and TV - the photos are worth a look! This house can comfortably sleep 6 and accommodated our family of 5 with ease - lots of space to chill out. The town and restaurants are 5 minutes walk up the hill and the beach is even closer down the hill and two drives so lots of space to park cars. I cannot recommend this place enough - we are returning at Xmas.

We absolutely loved our weekend stay at Rachel and Dale's place. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures and there was more than enough room for the 5 of us. It is really? tastefully decorated and has stunning views. We were delighted! We did a fair amount of cooking there as well and there was everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. <br/><br/>Saltburn was also lovely - the beach/coast is amazing for walks and there are plenty of nice bars and places to eat. Highly recommended!

I can only echo everyone else's opinions re the location, the views, the decor, the facilities and the generosity and helpfulness of Dale and Rachel. Our 1 year old grandson loved developing his walking skills around the spacious rooms and my 3 year old granddaughter loved the house and didn't want to leave. We couldn't have found a better place to stay that would WOW 3 generations.

Prompt and positive responses to all our queries and requests prior to our visit were great and the welcome cake and balloons for the family birthday celebration were a lovely surprise! What a beautiful house! We spent Easter weekend at Burnsyde beach house , we were greeted when we arrived with a lovely Easter greetings card and Easter egg :) thankyou dale and Rachel! The house is situated in such a great location the views from the house couldn't be better, and the decor has made me want to redecorate my whole home. Everything has been well thought about so the house met all our needs and more. The dogs enjoyed there stay just as much as us , we would definitely book to stay again, thankyou for making our stay so pleasurable !

This is a fabulous property, extremely well decorated in a modern style. The panoramic views are spectacular across the bays and hillsides. The location of the property could not be more perfect - mere minutes from the beach, pier and cable car tourist sites and only ten minutes from the main conveniences of the supermarket and train station. There was plenty of room for our family of four. The bathroom and kitchen are well stocked with the basics you need and there is an honesty bar for wine, prosecco and chocolate. Dale and Rachel could not have been more helpful, giving us great restaurant tips. We really enjoyed our brief stay and hope to return.

Man ist direkt an der Promenade und am Strand, aber auch in 2 Minuten im Ortskern. <br/>Die Kommunikation mit Rachel und Dale war mehr als super. Direkte Antworten und auf jede Frage eine Antwort. <br/>Ich kann das Beachhouse nur jedem sehr ans Herz legen!! Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt!
