Quite easy to collect the keys & find the flat.

We were told there was parking, there wasnt. We had to park on the street about 100 metres away initially. We then moved the car closer after 8PM. However, within a few hours we noticed that the cold water supply to the shower didn't work so we had to have baths. The boiler pressure had dropped so I had to top it up. Good job I used to be a central heating engineer. The TV channels were hit & miss so the Freeview was useless. Good job the WIFI was great & we had our Netflix password with us. The dead lock on the front door to the flat kept sticking making it difficult to leave twice! Also, the main entrance had a smell of damp & Saturday evening all we could smell was "weed". There were also a few unsavoury characters hanging around in the hallway on Saturday evening.

Saltburn is beautiful and always worth a visit.

I will never again book anything with Host & Stay. Horrible customer service, nothing works as promised.

When we arrived we had to wait for 30 minutes in front of the apartment, because Host & Stay didn't give us the number for the locker. They weren't able to check the income of the deposit I've sent them a week before. After I've sent them the confirmation of receiving the deposit by their company, they finally gave us the number to enter the apartment (after a two day trip from South of Germany to Saltburn).

One of the neighbours was already waiting for us and told us the bathtub is broken and we should only take a short shower. This problem was known since June but not fixed until September. The first two days of our trip we had to wait for a technician who tried to fix it.

After the horrible start it was a quite nice trip, because Saltburn is just beautiful and there was no need to talk to Host & Stay again.

But now, 4 weeks after checkout, I'm still waiting to get my deposit back. At first I didn't receive any answer regarding the deposit. Host & Stay only sent me advertisements and asked to rate my trip on different platforms, but didn't reply on my question, when I will get my deposit back. Now, after 4 weeks I still only get the information that they are in touch with their responsible department and will come back to me. Worst service ever.

I hope Booking.com will support me by getting back my deposit.

the view was pleasant out of one window, comfy beds

No hot water for first night, dangerous wires under boiler, told to fix it myself, drawer under boiler was fixed so no access.
No apology. or refund. Handyman arrived 10.00 am next day, very pleasant and fixed the boiler.
so the stress of it all, spoilt our break. One window would not open and the other one would close properly. So nor air in the apartment. On a very hot stormy weekend.
Parking was not very well explained or signed. although free parking was available on the surrounding streets.

the apartment itself was lovely and easy to access it had everything you need for a comfortable stay, on the first morning of are stay the weather was horrible and they was a small leak near the window but the host was quick to react to make is feel at ease, the only negative was two days after we booked the place I was ask to put £260 deposit down and £10 would not be refundable or risk losing are stay which was ridiculous, it a week since my stay and still haven't received my £250 back can't expect people to be doing this

Great location and very comfortable inside, good service from the management company (responded quickly to all enquiries/issues), our first visit to Saltburn and it won’t be our last.

Difficult to gain access on arrival (issues with the key box), a few dead flies in kitchen and bathroom and the tv kept playing up (but Host& Stay responded quickly to fix it - twice!).

Location was good & Space and comfort good

We had difficulty opening the key box.

Only after phoning, did we learn that you had to push the clear button (unlabelled?) down before entering the key code.

The telephone advice was to make sure each of the pins went fully in & clicked - this was not in the written instruction.
Also the old key box had been left with the key code visibly on it - which was perhaps a security problem

Well furnished flat. Everything working. Comfortable bed. Fully appointed kitchen. Partial sea view. Good location for beach and town.

External of building and stairway a bit tired. On road parking busy at high season and neighbours not happy with vehicles blocking their view!
I feel the £250 breakages deposit is excessive and held by booking company for too long before returned.
Need to provide instructions for washer dryer.
