The Space
At the beating heart of this apartment is the spacious living room. With neutral tones, a comfy sofa and two armchairs, this space feels comfortable and welcoming. With high ceilings and a bay window, the room is bright and airy. A home from home, you can relax here with your loved ones and enjoy quality time together. There is a TV with Freeview and streaming apps so you can keep on top of your favourite shows during your stay.
With light wooden cabinets, smooth black worktops and a beige tiled splashback, the kitchen is traditional in style. Fully equipped for all stays, the kitchen boasts a fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, and toaster. It also includes the added luxuries of a dishwasher and washing machine.
A great place to socialise, the dining table shares the kitchen space. With matching wooden dining chairs, the dining area is both contemporary and comfortable.
Spacious and inviting, the master bedroom has a tranquil, neutral colour scheme and ample storage space for your belongings. You’ll enjoy your nights’ sleep at Westbourne Grove Apartment as the king size bed boasts the premium quality bedding and linens.
The second bedroom is another traditional space. The comfy twin beds have plush bedding and crisp linens. There is ample storage space as the room has a large wardrobe and chest of drawers.
An ensuite bathroom is also located within the space. This space features a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.
The main bathroom is an ultra-clean and sophisticated space. It boasts a corner bathtub with overhead shower, WC and wash basin.
Neighborhood
Located in the seaside town of Scarborough, Westbourne Grove Apartment is just a short distance to all the attractions. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours.
There are several beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty.
Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000-year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 15-minute drive from the apartment where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.
Getting Around
Westbourne Grove Apartment is within walking distance of all that Scarborough has to offer and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.
Scarborough Train Station is a 15-minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, York, Leeds, Hull, Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.

Could have been a lovely stay however issues since the minute we arrived . Lock code wasn’t as they said and couldn’t access the property when needed which wasn’t ideal with two small children .After entering the property (after almost an hour wait for someone to come and fix the lock) the apartment was not left to a good standard - there was no towels in the whole of the apartment, step ladders were left up in the main bedroom , drying rack with washing was left int the kitchen and no bedding had been left in the beds. <br/>Two black bin bags were also left in the main bedroom which after investigation had some towels and some bedding in , which we then had to riffle through to try and muddle some bits together to cover the beds . I<br/>Wi-Fi details from handbook also don’t work . Totally disappointing to arrive at a property like this and wouldnt stay again . A shame as it could be such a lovely place as location is ideal.

Spacious, comfortable & homely<br/><br/>Wasn’t any hand rail on the steps leading up to the property, a photo of them should be included in the initial viewing, before booking process, they was difficult for one of our guests, also very dusty and lots of cobwebs

Had a lovely stay here. It is a very spacious apartment, very comfortable and within easy walking distance of the station and all the town centre has to offer. A Sainsbury's Local and Morrison's Local 5 minutes walk away for all grocery needs. <br/>Both bedrooms are away from the front of the apartment making them very quiet and cosy, which was important to us. We also appreciated that each bedroom had it's own bathroom which was very convenient. <br/>All in all a great base to explore all that Scarborough and the beautiful Yorkshire coastline has to offer. Would recommend.

the fact that we were eventually given our money back<br/><br/>To be fair we did not even get into the apartment. It is advertised as being one level, if you have an elderly or disabled person in your party it is not suitable. The property is accessed up step slippy steps. <br/>The area is not very nice either.
