Very modern property, clean & easy to find. Car parking available. Nicely furnished. Very comfortable. Nice touch to have tea, coffee and sugar included. Nothing.

Lovely apartment, spotless and well equipped for 2 couples. 10 minutes walk from town. Up quite a steep hill on return . Great little patio suntrap at the back to sit outside. Would definitely stay here again. Nothing really.

The beds were very uncomfortable cheap mattresses, duvets were flat need replacing, the sofa was two small, scruffy in places.

This apartment was better than we expected! Perfect for us to be able to park, facilities great and the short walk into Whitby was perfect. Would stay again.

Great apartment in an ideal location. Only downside was the busy main road which could get noisy, but the plus side was ease of access.

Great location, very pretty apartment and a good size for a family of 4. The double doors to the bedrooms are lovely and the outdoor seating area is a bonus for warmer months! The mattress in the master bedroom was terrible and woke up with back ache. The sofa looks very nice but it’s not a comfortable sofa where you could sit and relax to watch TV at night. The outdoor space could do with a freshen up but given the time of year we stayed it’s understandable.

Very good location & easy parking. Heating worked well. Quite small living area & kitchen. Dining table looked over side passage (no view). No welcome pack or basics (eg oil, salt, foil, kitchen towels, cling film etc) which was a shame & unusual for self catering nowadays. TV freeview couldn’t get signal so we didn’t use the TV. Had to chase up to get arrival instructions & kept getting repetitive emails from Host & Stay.

Fabulous information pack sent on text / WhatsApp with all the information you could need. Being told that early check-in would be £30.00 two hours beforehand... They didn't charge us (or haven't yet? thank you!) but still felt it was a) steep and b) very late to bring that to the party when we had enquired about early check-in days before and not been told it would come at a cost.

The mattress in the front bedroom sagged in the middle. A table lamp in the lounge area would have made it cosier. There were NO cleaning products except washing up liquid and a dishcloth - so couldn’t do a wipe around. The nespresso coffee machine was leaking. There were no facilities to recycle rubbish - surely a must these days.

A lovely apartment in a good location and free parking is an added bonus! There could be a few more utensils and baking trays

no breakfast included I booked the accommodation for friends and paid in full they were asked to pay a further £250 for the 2 night stay less than the price I originally paid VERY DISSAPPOINTED

Lovely well appointed apartment with parking included and short walk to town. Wifi and netflix available. Great shower. Only one hand towel. Bit dusty/cobwebs in places. Not much room for getting in and out of the shower cubicle. Plenty room once in the shower.

The house was clean but missed the final details as in both bedroom have lovely low light fixtures but both were very dusty and there were cobwebs from light fixtures to corners of rooms in both bedrooms. Nice apartment but lack of towels and only one shower gel package was disappointing .would not say book but please owner think about skirting boards etc….

Lovely property. Perfect for our family of 4 mini break. Unfortunately the property had a hitch with cleaning and it wasn’t up to standard, but the location was great, easy off road parking and the property was equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

House is ideal for a stay in Whitby, only a 10 min walk to the centre. Modern furnishings and generally clean with most amenities needed for a family stay. I would stay again. As it is listed as a luxury apartment there are a couple of things that could be improved but nothing that can't be done quickly, such as better cleaning in some areas, better mattresses, a couple of missing basic kitchen essentials, and only 1 toilet roll supplied.

The location was great for walking into Whitby. About a 15 minute walk. The apartment was very nice with quality furnishings. We stayed as a family of 4 including 2 children. There was plenty of room. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. It was in need of a deep clean. The bath towels were very thin and could do with replacing. The kitchen was good, it was lacking a chopping board. I have reported these things to Host & Stay.

Easy access, on site parking, comfy beds. Lounge furniture insufficient for 4 ppl, very uncomfortable chair and way too small. 1 toilet role, one very small body wash sachet for the shower, no hand wash. This was advertised as inclusive. Rear outside seating not private, grubby and covered in bird poo.

Location good. Good bus service from town to get back up hill to property. Very comfy beds, good kitchen and bathroom. Bedroom very tight for space, didn’t rate basket in wardrobe to use as drawers. Would have preferred 2 keys to the property instead of fiddling with the key box every time.

The apartment was so clean, great parking space. There are three spaces each with the name of the apartment your in so you always have one. Easy walking distance to the harbour, restaurants, museum and gardens. We were in the madison where it got a little hot at night. No windows just large patio doors which can't be left open at night. But not a major issue.

Location was a little disappointing. We had to take the car into the Town Centre car park as 3 of our party could not have managed the walk back up to the Apartment. Too late we found that there were a number of buses which went from near the Apartment down to the central area. Written instruction on the use of the TV. Possibly a second TV in the larger bedroom

Spacious, comfortable, modern, loved sitting out in the courtyard. Close to town. Easy parking. Recommend apart from the insurance ripp off Some road noises. The shower floor was cracked and leaked badly. Hated that they demanded we pay an extra £25 insurance surcharge was not mentioned at the time of booking feel slightly ripped off should be covered in booking cost. Also the TV remote needs fixing it was shock

Attractive property, easy reach to town. Cracked shower tray that management knew about which leaked serious amounts of water onto floor and a totally blocked toilet on our arrival which took 24 hours to sort. Shower tray needed replacement, as management knew, yet they thought it acceptable to still rent out the property. Had to resort to laying towels all around tray to stem water flow.

A true hidden gem, done to a high standard. A home away from home, has everything you need including a washer dryer. Private parking was a complete bonus. There’s nothing not to like about the property.

Glass shards on the floor, half a broken glass in the cupboard. I cut myself within half an hour of arriving.

Nice location , nice layout Location was good but on a busy road so we had to sleep in the rear bedroom. Unfortunately on arrival host and stay (the company used by the hosts / booking.com would not give me the access code until i made a further payment of £25 to cover insurance. Despite already confirming full payment in advance!! After a 4 hour drive i was being forced to make a further payment but was told its refundable. I'm still waiting. Despite numerous phone calls and emails nobody is calling me back or replying so I'm still chasing!! if it says host and stay DONT BOOK IT

Just don't expect to be cleaning on the first day, but i would defiantly return, i just cant understand why its not clean

There wasn’t one thing I liked about the property. No heating and no hot water all weekend . Got moved to another apartment in the same building and there was no hot water or heating in there Same as above

Good location, clean, nicely decorated Parking was difficult when all 3 apartments were booked as you are entering the property from a main road with the dropped curb only covering part of the driveway. Pulling on to the driveway (cant reverse on as the road is to busy) meant reversing off onto a main road which was dangerous. Hot tap on sink was loose, left hand shower handle was very stiff and needed force to turn on and off (been highlighted before by other guests) bed at the front of the property was awful and we had to move to the other bed as the mattress felt very used and very uncomfortable and squeaked at the slightest movement (previous reviews have highlighted this last year). Key to the front door was difficult at times to unlock as the lock needed some wd40. The sofa looked lovely, but so uncomfortable. Kitchen was lovely but no workspace to prepare food. Also be aware that once you have paid for the property the refundable damage payment there is a deduction of £10 on return for admin

The apartment was pleasantly decorated, modern and very comfortable. Only a short drive from the centre. A perfect little get away for a small family. The host/management company was easily contactable and great to deal with.

The location was great, close to the town and scenic. The property wasn't very suitable for our young family. A lot of stairs and further stairs within the property. Was a bit of a safety issue for 11 month old crawler and 2 and half year old toddler. On reflection a single level property would have been perfect.

Absolutely nothing The fact that the hosts are robbing people blind. decent people who work hard for a living. Do not book and pay for this apartment. Second stay in this fabulous penthouse apartment. Feels like home from home. The location is great, just a short walk to town. Facilities in the apartment are fabulous, with great finishing touches. Particularly love the coffee machine and dishwasher. We will definitely be back.

Good location, tastfull style property, and comfortable. The toilet was dirty. The tea towel was dirty. No cleaning products and no toiletries and not even hand-wash in the bathroom. We had to go out and buy these products ourselves. And clean the apartment ourselves as we didn't feel comfortable high standard of cleaning was met. Also, there was a dirty mark on the rug.

Property fitted to a good quality standard. Reasonably located for downhill walk into town centre. Poor cheap bed mattresses, noisy springs. Overgrown patio also would need decking and chairs cleaning after garden work. Dust on wardrobe top, behind and under bed. Dust on fake plants in shower room and around the flat. Leaking coffee maker, lost water on worktop overnight.

Property was very modern / well decorated good location, 15 min walk to town Property was tidy but wasn’t exactly clean, we was left a drop of washing up liquid and one dishwasher tablet, no cloth to wipe sides down etc, not too sure what the £60 cleaning fee covers as the place wasn’t clean, some mould on walls too.

Lovely modern, boutique style apartment which was well located to local amenities.

The location, parking and the amenities. The whole apartment was lovely. The king size bed mattress needs replacing. The bed was comfortable but the springs made an awful noise when you turned or moved. Some more utensil’s would be helpful such as tongs.

Good location, close to town centre, harbour etc. The apartment is a large space with a good kitchen, a large sitting room, and a good-sized dining table. The car parking right outside is great, and the outside seating area is a nice bonus. There is no storage space in the bathroom apart from a tiny glass shelf. If you put your wash bag on here, there is nowhere to put any contents, other than the floor. There was also quite a bit of mould on the shower silicone around the bottom, and it leaked badly onto the bathroom floor. As this apartment sleeps 4, the space to store cosmetics and toiletries was an issue as anything on the floor ended up wet.

Nothing that we did not like. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nothing to not like? If we are to give any constructive feedback, it would be that the front door would benefit from having some form of blind as the glass panel allowed full view of the apartment.

Lounge and small garden was good The bedrooms were very small, .no room for luggage. Would be fine for a couple, but friends sharing definitely not great for the price. The mattress needs replacing bed very noisy and uncomfortable too soft and bumpy.

The property was very clean and beautifully decorated. Perfect amount of room for 5 people. They say that toiletries are provided, but there was only hand soap and one roll of loo roll.

A wall clock in the living area would be great & also a little stool in the shower room to put clothes on whilst using the shower.

It was beautiful inside well presented and located from town centre nice warm and comfortable The steps and driveway and steps going was thick with ice and was a dangerous hazard and we nearly had few accidents due to no salt or grit put down from who ever looks after the property also double bed in main bedroom was broken so we had to sleep in spare room .

Stayed for new year, last minute booking and was lovely! Clear communication and no problems at all. Private car park available, on return to property is a walk up the hill was no problems to us after a few drinks however if anyone has any mobility issues something to consider. Easy walk to Whitby centre. It is up a hill so if needed can get a taxi or frequent buses up the hill. Lovely , well cared for apartment. Really enjoyed our stay.

The property is well located and a short walk into Whitby (although down a steep hill). Good parking; clean; warm (heating easy to control). The kitchen and lounge areas were comfortable and attractive. We stayed in the Madison and the bedrooms were tiny -in larger bedroom on one side there was only maybe 30cm between wall and bed, The only place for clothes storage in the main bedroom was a wardrobe with 6 hangars (for two people) and one shelf at the bottom under which was a basket which was difficult to access (because of space) - no drawers at all. The boiler is also in this room. The other bedroom is even smaller and i cannot see how two people could be accommodated in there (it only has a single wardrobe). The only place to put toileteries in the bathroom was a shelf approx 35cm x 15cm - for four people!

De ruime slaapkamers en ruime badkamer. In de woonkamer kun je niet met 4 volwassenen makkelijk op de bank zitten. Maar voor de rest was alles prima.

The decoration and overall layout of the apartment was beautiful. Everything was spotless and we were really happy to find we had everything we needed like utensils, tea, coffee, milk etc. The apartment felt like a home away from home and that’s exactly what we were looking for. Location was perfect and only a 10 minute walk right into the center and the pier. Overall, was just amazing :) The bed in the main bedroom was squeaky which did wake us up a few times in the night but because we went as a couple, we had the option to sleep in the second bedroom. Probably could do with the bed frame replacing but didn’t hinder our experience. Only other thing to touch on is that the water pressure for the hot tap in the bath wasn’t great compared to the shower and kitchen tap but again it’s just to note and didn’t worsen our time there at all.

Broken step on external stairs to front door, dangerous slip hazard. Tile not fixed down! Responses to questions asked to the owners seem computer generated stock answers and didn’t address our queries while there.

Easy access, welcome pack, information folder, large beds, bed linen, WiFi , space - particularly outside space. Well signed designated parking. Quick response to problems. The shower looked good walk in and with hand held and deluge head. Unfortunately the switch button was faulty and we were unable to shower. This was partially rectified after being reported but hand set still didn’t function. Toilet seat fixings broken and seat insecure.

- Moderne Ferienwohnung. - Neue Innenausstattung. - Pkw-Stellplatz auf dem Grundstück (max. 2 Fahrzeuge). - Terrasse hinter dem Haus. - Nahe Stadtzentrum (ca. 10 min Fußweg). - Wohnküche war innen gelegen. Tageslicht kam nur durch die Haustüre rein. - Die Ferienwohnung liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße. - Die Toilette war nicht sauber. - Das Geschirr haben wir bei Ankunft erst mal komplett in die Spülmaschine gestellt.

Property was nice & clean. There was plenty of room despite their being 5 of us in one apartment. We had an issue with a broken bed & staff were unwilling to do anything about it during our stay.

Great location to the town centre and good parking facilities directly in front of the apartment. Nice and modern and clean There was no storage even though there was plenty of space to accommodate it. The beds were very poor, lathes falling out of the bottom, has said in other reviews. Only there for 2 nights so didn’t use any of the cooking equipment.

Really nice modern apartment, well kitted out, comfortable space and clean Little further away from centre than expected (uphill). Easy enough to walk down though and taxis available for return leg for few pounds.

The style of the property was exquisite. All facilities were available. Great location. Car parking was a bonus and did not move all weekend. Lovely little touches with free coffee, tea, sugar, milk etc. I am being very picky here and these did not affect our stay at all but could easily be rectified for the next customers. The slats at the bottom of the bed we’re not in properly and there were stains on the covers. Also for the style of the property the little touches such as the toilet bin and brush holder were rusty and old. Check out at 10 was a little early and another half an hour to an hour would have been nice.

Beautifully appointed apartment with everything thought about for a short stay. Perfect location and efficient communication with the owners. The mattresses in both bedrooms are very uncomfortable with cheap springs. such a shame for an expensive looking apartment and pricey stay. Outdoor lighting also couldn’t be switched off and bathroom is getting a bit grubby for the cost - the shower heads and grouting should be immaculate.

What a lovely place to set base in for Whitby… really good location .. well especially if you want something with parking. The property itself is perfect, really light, beautifully and tastefully decorated. Rooms spacious and all the facilities you could ask for. Honestly couldn’t fault it and would stay there again next time I visit

Location spot on very convenient for Whitby certainly would recommend to others. The walk into Whitby town is not that far but some downhill going & uphill coming back. Our 4 yr old grandchild managed it very well. Very smart & well looked after place. All very new & modern inside & a small patio with garden chairs set out at the back.

The Penthouse was an enjoyable stay. Very clean and comfortable. From the pictures, I thought the blue would be overwhelming but t it was very well balanced and I enjoyed the fresh country feel in the kitchen.

You will love this accommodation. Outstanding cleanliness and facilities. Felt brand new. Location also excellent for walk into town of driving to other nearby attractions. Hosts are also really engaged and welcoming. Bit pricey but money well spent. Would recommend and revisit.

A fantastic place to stay. The apartment itself was very clean and provided everything we expected for the two nights. The off street parking was really helpful as my parents can’t walk far and easy to unload our luggage. The only slight negative were the reception and Wi-Fi were a bit hit and miss at times.

A beautiful apartment. Spacious and clean with modern decor. Beds were really comfy and the host had a new bed delivered just before we arrived as the other was broken. Just a short walk into Whitby town centre and despite being on the main road, we weren’t disturbed by traffic at all. Great apartment within easy walking distance of Whitby seafront & attractions. Parking space is a great bonus. Unfortunately one of the double beds was broken which rather spoilt our stay- but assuming they get this fixed I would definitely recommend this place!

Location is great, just a short walk from the town centre. Having a free parking space is very convenient. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything you might need for your stay. The only downside for us were the matresses which were not very comfortable. Communication with the hosts was easy, would definetely stay again.

We stayed in the Penthouse apartment for a week and had a wonderful time. The apartment is finished to a very high specification and was spotlessly clean on arrival. Check in was simple with great communications before hand. Parking on the driveway is a huge advantage in Whitby! Everything you need is fitted in the apartment and the beds & linen are fantastic quality. If we return to Whitby we would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend prospect hill apartments

Highly recommend. Superb location for walking into Whitby but also good to get on to main roads for visiting other local attractions. Property was clean and beautifully presented. Would definitely book again!

This accommodation was perfect for family or friends wishing to stay in Whitby. The apartment is approx 15 min walking distance to the beach. It has parking provided. The rooms are very clean and spacious. For 5 people there is one toilet and bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and has a separate lounge. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in whitby. The only cons- v small flight of stairs to reach the apartment. The TV was not working.

Great , stylish apartment with fab facilities and only a 5 min walk from the centre of Whitby.

We stayed in this newly renovated apartment for a birthday celebration, and we just loved it. The Penthouse has amazing balconies in the lounge and master bedroom, which fully open up to let the sea breeze through. The interiors are stylish, the apartment is very spacious with a gorgeous free standing bath. Will be visiting again without a doubt

We loved everything except for tbe beds it was broken we had to put.the mattress to the floor

Lovely, spotless place. Well placed, about 5 mins down hill into Whitby itself. My only moan would be the shower which is tiny. Hubby couldn’t fit under it at 6’3 and even those of us that could, couldn’t move in the tiny cubicle. That said, there is a huge bath so all is not lost!

Lovely apartment with stylish decor as well as being homely. The beds are very comfortable and great amenities couldn’t ask for more. Only a 10 minute walk to the town & seafront although a steep hill walk back but worth it.

A beautiful apartment just outside the centre of Whitby. it is only a 10 minute walk to the harbour. Very spacious living area with full kitchen facilities. Nicely furnished and decorated Comfortable beds in large bedrooms Nice Shower. Wi-fi is a bit of a pain but I don't know if that is just Whitby !

Wonderful stay, great location just a 10 minute walk away from whitby town centre. Apartment was beautifully decorated and spotless.

Anyone renting this penthouse will not be disappointed, everything is just as it says very clean and just a short walk into town
