I spent a lovely few days in Silverlinings with my 2 granddaughters at the end of their summer vacation.
The accommodation was spotless and the rooms bright and airy, with lots of storage space. It was great having a bedroom each - much appreciated by my granddaughters, aged 12 and 15, having their own space to retire to when we returned after our visits to the local beaches and to Seaton Delaval Hall close by.
The directions made it easy to find and communication from both Airbnb and the owners of the property was excellent.

We have never been to an air bnb before so was a little skeptical but needed somewhere to fit our foster family in to go visit our previous foster baby that’s now been adopted. The house was easy to get to, very clear and easy instructions - lots to do nearby. The house was lovely, clean, homely and spacious! We can’t wait to book again. Thanks so much! 110% recommend!

First off the host requires a payment off the AirBnB site, it's minor (£30) and is done professionally, but should be noted. Additionally the host communicates off the AirBnB site. Again, not an issue, but be aware.
The place was nice, and we'll set up. There were no issues with any of the amenities BUT the beds are terrible. The mattress are old and thin, and most of us complained of springs and discomfort. If the host invested in new beds it would be brilliant. However, because of the beds, I can only give it a 4 star review.
Still, professional and responsive host, and the road is quiet at night so sleeping with the windows open wasn't an issue.

Nice, clean, spacious apartment. Ideal whilst working in the area.

A well appointed, clean and comfortable accommodation.
The only downside was that all three mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. I would recommend these be changed to further improve comfort.

We had stay in two nights. No trouble.
Five minutes drive to the beach. Quiet area.

Worked fine for us as a last minute stay in the North East to visit family. A bit tricky though because there are a lot of stairs and my daughter is learning to walk at the moment so it wasn't very safe. Considering the cost of cleaning and extra insurance you have to pay, there were things we'd have expected to be clean (such as mould in shower and kitchen pans which we had to clean before using). You're provided with one dishwasher tablet and one roll of toilet paper, which I understand for a long let, but meant we soon had to go shopping for items we'd expect to be provided. The beds and sofas were quite small and not the most comfortable.
However, we made it work for us and really appreciated being able to get the place last minute.

It was basically furnished and clean.

Placing the key safe just ankle high above the pavement was very bad. I had to get down on my hands and knees on the pavement to see and then enter the code. Luckily it was not raining.
For someone with mobility issues, getting the key (by getting down on hands and knees) and climbing the stairs to get to the first floor (where all the rooms were located) would have been difficult. I am not aware that these issues were highlighted in the information describing the property.

The location was great, was in a nice quiet residential area.

There wasn't any basic amenities such as toilet roll, hand wash and dish wash when we entered the property. When we asked they gave it the next day so by then we already bought our own supply. Also they still didn't supply hand wash instead gave soap which is not ideal when it comes to hygiene. Mattresses need replacing asap, literally as you sit on it, you hit the bed frame because that is how flimsy the mattresses were. The cleaning team need to dust the place properly and get rid of any cobweb in the property. we found a lovely, massive web on the sitting room lamp. If you have a in house cleaning team surely these are the little things they should clean first.

Good location for what we needed. Reasonable size. Clean.

Bed mattresses weren’t the most comfortable . Sofa also could have been more comfortable and slightly bigger.

Paying £25 extra for insurance damage think it’s scandalous

Excellent location for where we want to go. Very clean and great facilities for our 4 people family.

The thing that let it down was the comfort of the main bedroom, the mattress was too soft and thin and I didn’t wake up rested.

greats hosts, very fast responses. we had to change/extend our stays several times last minute, and each time we was accommodated with these requests, very impressed. Even gave us a discount on future stays...happy days. Thank you once again for hosting us

Clean, tidy and spacious. Good functioning kitchen. Pleasant decor, cozy and warm. For the most part - a quiet street but with occasional unwanted external noise. Street parking was busy but always managed to get something.

Spacious first floor flat in a row of on-the-pavement terraced houses.Modern furnishings, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Co-op store, coffee house, fish & chips, pharmacy, few takeaways and a great Greek restaurant within 5mins walk. Close to Whitley Bay (great Turkish restaurant) and within easy reach of numerous National Trust properties. Visiting Cragside (private) is a must. If you like walking over moderate terrain, the grounds are great(as is the house!) Thoroughly recommend this flat.

What a lovely place to stay, everything just as described. Parking on the street as stated, most of the time can get a space outside the apartment, only once later at night did we have to park further down.
Facilities were good, spacious and modern touches to the space.
We would stay here again,
Thank you!

Clean and well equipped 1st floor apartment. Parking busy as you would expect from a terrace street.

A very nice flat with 3 good sized bedrooms & large modernised bathroom with separate shower and bath. Parking in the road was ok most of the time and its in a good position for visiting the North East beaches, Morpeth area or Newcastle city. Seaton sluice & St Mary's lighthouse/Whitley bay is 10 minutes drive from the property.

A great flat with plenty of room for up to 6. The kitchen and bathroom are really well equipped and modern. The beds are comfy and there is plenty of room and hanging space. It is also warm. Its really handy for small supermarkets and take aways and the beach is a 10 minute drive at most.
