The Grand National at Aintree Racecourse: 7th – 9th April
A Scouse staple on the calendar is The Grand National, where horses and jockeys gather from all around to race in the most famous horse racing event in the world! Fun for all the family to enjoy, the races are a great excuse to gather your loved ones and watch the fun with some nibbles and drinks!
The Secret Garden at Calderstones Park | 15th – 18th April
One of our favourite things about Liverpool is the greenery, whilst also being right on the river! Calderstones Park is a great place to enjoy the Spring, and this April they are opening the gates to the Secret Garden! Come and live out your Bridgerton garden party fantasy, with local suppliers to enjoy such as Liverpool Cheese Company, Liverpool’s Handyman Gin and more! Make sure to book, as the historic mansion’s secret garden is always in high demand!
Sound City at Various Venues across Liverpool | 30th April – 1st May
Liverpool is famous for our music scene, so come and enjoy the local talent before they become household names! Sound City is celebrating it’s 15th anniversary this year, so it’s bound to be better than ever!
Garden Bar at Bombed Out Church | 1st April onwards!
St Luke’s Church, affectionately referred to as The Bombed Out marking the effects of The Blitz in Liverpool. Us Scousers know how turn tragedy into beauty, as The Bombed Out often hosts cinema screenings, and now that the weather is getting more hopeful you can enjoy a drink at the historic site! The view below can be seen from one of our very own properties!
