One of the most magical things about the run-up to Christmas has got to be the lights in everyone’s windows brightening up the dark evenings… so we can’t imagine anything more magical than taking the whole family to the Safari Park to see it lit up with a light trail and music to accompany the enchanted forest, as well as toasted marshmallows!

The Christmas markets are finally back, bigger and better than EVER this year! If you stop by the iconic St George’s Hall this Christmas you could get some Christmas shopping done with a mulled wine in hand, and there are plenty of rides and festivities for the kids to enjoy too! Fun for all the family, the Christmas markets are a MUST this year to get you in the festive mood! The stunning historical setting is made even more beautiful with all the festivities.
Ice Festival | Until 3rd January
There is even more to enjoy after an evening at the Christmas markets, you can also take the family down to the Pierhead for some more Christmas stalls with mulled wine and a warming hot chocolate to savour while the kids try ice skating and even more rides!

A Scouse staple of every Christmas, you may also catch a glimpse of the incredible people taking part in the Santa Dash around the city! Those taking part do so for wonderful causes, as well as for a bit of fun! There’s nothing like a bunch of strangers dressed as Father Christmas raising money for charity to get you in the festive spirit!
