Fabulous central location with parking included, well equipped house, comfortable bed, wifi worked well. It had everything we needed and more and was very quiet. I would have given top marks had it not been for the damage protection insurance set up.

The damage protection insurance set up was not as stated in the original agreement (cash on arrival, cash returned on departure, no hidden costs). It was either a £35 damage waiver or a £250 deposit upon signing a very wordy agreement and £10 deducted as an admin fee reimbursed two weeks later.

Good location for centre of Alnwick

The property was dated. There was mould in the bathroom. The front door was rotting and dirty with plants growing out of the outside wall downcomer. The table surface was chipped. Bedroom was very cramped.
The damage waiver should have been stated at the beginning of the booking.

Was brilliant location and for the most part, nice spot to stay in.
Only feedback would be, bathroom seemed a bit tired and dated. Would have been a nice touch to have some soaps for the bathroom sink and maybe the shower.
Other than that, kitchen was nice, living room was pleasant and comfy enough bed!

Host n stay's facility was ideal for our stay. It was convenient to restaurants, shops, tourist attractions etc. As regards the standard of the premises, it was good except we had an issue opening windows and door!! On a positive note, we would stay again ?

Location is perfect, right off the Main Street of Alnwick with most amenities in walking distance. Good variety of bars and restaurants nearby. The flat itself is cosy, warm, clean and tidy with everything you need. The bathroom was a little tired but everything else new and modern. Overall it is a perfect bolt hole in Alnwick with 1 private parking space (however easy to get parking nearby). Just a couple of points I feel could be improved upon - only 2 towels and for a weeks stay we could have used a few more and only 1 roll of toilet roll for a week also. It is a flat so you can at times hear upstairs neighbour but it wasn’t an issue.

The location is very central so is perfect. The flat is well furnished and equipped.

Be aware that Host & Stay who manage the property will ask for a £200 damage deposit. This will be returned 2 weeks later minus a £10 admin fee. You can pay a £25 damage waiver instead. I’d prefer these to be included in the price.

First impressions of the property weren’t good. The parking space was overgrown by tall weeds. The door was rotten with moss growing in the rotten area. The flat smelled of damp.
