A spacious, well kept and cosy property. We found it good for a family and dog friendly. The kitchen was well equipped so it was easy to make meals. It is near to the A1 but we weren't disturbed by road noise and it made travelling around easy. The house is down a country road surrounded by fields so the setting feels peaceful. The beds were comfy and the fire in the living room was set up ready to use. We hadn't packed towels as the airbnb website stated they were provided when we booked, but when we arrived there weren't any. But host and stay are easy to contact and responded quickly and this was sorted for us. We stopped for three nights and would return if coming back to the area as we enjoyed our stay.

The place was ideally located just off the A1 so very easy to get to different parts of the area, and was very easy to find especially since we arrived a bit later. The cottage had plenty of room ideal for our family of 5 and our dog (2 adults and 3 children). The place was clean and tidy and had everything we more or less needed. Nice little seating area outside which blocked a lot of the wind, good parking area as well. The only down side was the listing said there were towels, shampoo, soap etc... this was missing in the property so had to pop down to Alnwick in the morning to get some bits. Very conveniently there was a car charger outside the property which was very useful. Next time were up in the area we will definitely consider staying here again.
