Fabulous welcoming , comfortable and clean property. The layout worked well for us as two couples especially as both bedrooms had an en-suite bathroom . The location is super for exploring this area, Bamborough , Holy island, St Cuthberts way and trains from Berwick for Edinburgh are good too , and having the Bean Genie cafe and gift shop next door was an added bonus, lovely owners and fabulous coffee! We would definitely return if/ when we come back to this area . Nothing we didn’t like as such but feel non slip mats would be good for the shower and bath and maybe some drawers in the double bedroom . Also a new (maybe slightly smaller!) non stick frying pan .
Outstanding!!! The Loft is a large space above a converted village hall with two generous bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. It has a great well equipped kitchen, ample dishes, cups and cutlery with the use of dishwasher. The washer is Handy too. We enjoyed the peaceful location with short distance drives to Berwick upon Tweed, Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle. Nearby a great gastropub in Lowick(Bkack bull), below a coffee shop with a friendly hostess
