Located on the third floor, The Beach is designed with a calm and neutral style throughout, the bright and welcoming living space offers comfortable sofas, a TV and a practical collapsible wooden dining table perfectly positioned beside the large window to make the most of the incredible sea views. The charming kitchen combines rustic wooden units with quirky tiled splashbacks, creating a warm and characterful space for cooking and dining. Both double bedrooms are spacious and relaxing, featuring large windows that fill the rooms with natural light along with useful storage furniture for longer stays. The contemporary bathroom is fully tiled and includes a modern shower and stylish designer radiator. Filey is a classic Yorkshire seaside town known for its sweeping sandy beach, peaceful pace and stunning coastal scenery. Set along the dramatic North Sea coast, it offers uninterrupted views across Filey Bay and easy access to scenic cliff-top walks and the Cleveland Way. The town has a welcoming, traditional feel with independent cafés, cosy pubs, fish and chip shops and small local stores, all within easy reach of the seafront. Families enjoy the wide, safe beach and rock pools, while walkers and nature lovers can explore the nearby Filey Brigg, a striking headland rich in wildlife and sea views. Perfectly positioned between Scarborough and Bridlington and close to the North York Moors, Filey is an ideal base for a relaxed coastal escape with plenty of space, fresh sea air and beautiful surroundings to explore year-round.
Getting around Filey and the surrounding Yorkshire coast is easy and convenient. Filey has its own railway station with regular services connecting to nearby coastal towns and onward links to larger cities such as York and Leeds. Local bus routes also run frequently along the coast, linking Filey with Scarborough, Bridlington and surrounding villages. The town itself is very walkable, with the beach, shops, cafés and pubs all within easy reach on foot. For those travelling by car, Filey offers straightforward road access via the A165, making it simple to explore the wider area, including the dramatic landscapes of the North York Moors National Park. Cycling is also popular, with scenic coastal routes and quieter country lanes offering a relaxing way to discover the coastline at your own pace.

Please note that the stairs to the apartment are steep, and the apartment is on the third floor. There is no outside area for guests to use, however the spectacular views make up for the lack of outside space. Dogs are not permitted at the property.

nice sea view, reasably spacious deception on advert, there is no wifi despite saying there is. Steep stairs only revealed when paid.
The location - the property is right across the road from the beach, lovely beach walks. There is parking but be aware that outside the property is a designated disabled parking bay and traffic wardens do check. You may have to park elsewhere initially - usually spaces after 6pm. The view - wonderful view, morning sunrise over Filey Brigg, watching the tides come and go. The beds were very comfortable, the bedlinen and towels were of good quality. Plenty of hot water, the shower is electric. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets provided and some UHT milk portions. Keys were in a lockbox on arrival. Earliest check-in 4pm instructions not provided until then. Checkout by 10am. We paid £352 for 3 nights for 2 people but it can be booked for 4. This rental property needs urgent attention: Shortly after booking we were advised that there was no WIFI and there wouldn't be during our stay - unacceptable as once in the property it was obvious that there has not been WIFI for some time, we would not have booked if we'd known. There is little point in a 50" Smart TV when there was no internet/broadband, when I raised this it was not addressed as it should have been. DVDs provided no DVDs. With TV not working no other source of entertainment, no radio etc as it was all on the TV. Entrance door is stiff to open and needs attention - flies, unpleasant smell and a dirty towel on the coat rack , the property is a Victorian building and this apartment is on the top floor i.e. 42 steps from entrance hall to door of apartment and the last flight are incredibly steep and narrow with carpet fraying on the top step an obvious and dangerous trip hazard. It was difficult to know who else was in the property as the main entrance door was often left unlocked, despite signs to say lock it. Kitchen-dirty cups, shelf in the fridge stuck with parcel tape, the toaster gave off green sparks the one time we used it so didn't re-use. Needs more glasses of different sizes. Salt & pepper nothing else. Overlooked from the back. Living area - strip between kitchen and living area needs securing, it is a trip hazard. There is a dining table and two chairs but not really the space to utilise this and if you are a party of four there are only two chairs. Two sofas but they are lacking in support. Plug sockets not working and dusty lampshades. Filthy window - which spoiled the view. Bathroom - the shower doors do not close properly, left door not on the guide track properly. Bedroom 1 (front) - the curtains are on rings on a curtain pole, that do not fit properly, curtains are too light for a morning sun (4.30am). Filthy window. Bedroom 2 (back) - wardrobe full of items, had to remove to use.
