Lovely apartment<br/><br/>Check out time 12 would be better

The property was clean, and for the most part had what we needed for a 2 night’s stay. Very close to the beach too.<br/><br/>The sofa bed was missing bedding, I phoned at 5pm when we realised, but the staff at Host & Stay were not able to come to a solution that evening. We had to make- shift needing using beach towels we’d brought. The second day someone did bring a clean sheet, and we happened to be in the flat when they came by. It I never received any communication from Host & Stay to say how they were going to resolve the problem or that there even would be a solution. By the time the sheet had arrived, we’d already spent our morning buying a new sheet for our child to use. We wasted our morning because we didn’t know if we’d have a sheet for that evening. <br/><br/>The bed was only a double, which isn’t the worst, but certainly not ideal for a couple. Unfortunately, it was not a comfortable bed, and resulted in poor sleep. <br/><br/>Finally, I would have liked at least one extra bin bag so that we could have cleared all our rubbish from the flat. As it was we had to use a carrier bag to get rid of some waste. There are also no street bins provided. The property notes day to use dumpsters at the end of the road, but there are no allocated bins for the property. A kind neighbour let us use their bin, but mentioned that guests using the flat are always using other bins that don’t belong to the property and are using incorrect bin bags too. It’s disappointing to be upsetting the locals as visitors, and though they didn’t blame us, they were obviously not happy with the property management.

The location<br/><br/>We were very disappointed, the apartment was not as expected, it is in need of a good clean and update. There were lots of marks on the carpet and walls, the crockery wasn’t clean, the duvet was old. The sofa bed was very old and uncomfortable. The apartment was very hot with no fans provided. The double bed was very small. The apartment was so disappointed that I had to arrange for children to stay with a relative who lived nearby that we had been visiting.

Amazing location, a lot of info was shared pre-stay as well. The wifi was decent and the flat was tidy enough with a nice kitchen.<br/><br/>To start with the address is wrong - it's flat 8A not 8, very confusing! The sofa is incredibly uncomfortable, I can't imagine how someone would sleep on that. We also stayed over Pride Weekend (great fun!) so the cost was really not in line with the quality. Hosts wanted an additional £20 as a damage waiver - which I think is incredibly rude. We exchanged some messages and they were not interested in removing the fee. So we paid at least 100% over the regular rate and the extra £20 was the cherry on the top for me.

The property was only a short walk from the venue that we were attending, so it was convenient. <br/>The bed was fairly comfortable, so we slept well enough. <br/>Due to the proximity to the beachfront, we were able to go for a stroll in the morning before checking out.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, for the standard of the property, the price was extortionate. The initial impression when we arrived was one of concern, as the property, as well as the road it is on, didn't appear to be particularly well kept. Inside could do with new carpets and a deep clean throughout. Again, for the price, you'd expect better.

It was right next to the station and close to the beach (few minutes walk). It was on a quiet residential street with corner shops nearby.<br/><br/>It would benefit from some updating of the decor

Location was ideal for us. Parking was easier than I expected. Property was clean & had all we needed for our stay. <br/>Bonus in that from the kitchen window I saw swifts flying around the roofs, we don't have swifts in Carmarthenshire so that was a real joy.

Clean, private apartment in an extremely convenient location. All modern appliances and basics like towels, tea and coffee. <br/><br/>Perfect for our stay, will book again.

Great location near train station, restaurants, cafe, bars, shops, beach, dreamland. Apartment very clean. Lovely to see kitchen essentials fully equipped even though we didn’t cook at all during our 2 night stay… We had breakfasts, lunches and dinners out during our stay. Lovely clean fresh towels and bathroom essentials ie bubble bath and hand wash handy as we tried to travelled light. All and all lots of thoughts l, care and consideration was put into the apartment to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and happy during your stay. Cleaner lady lovely and friendly. Bedroom bed and sofa bed comfortable. Love that they have Netflix - very modernised TV channels. Wi-Fi works well. Good communication with Blue Fox Team.<br/><br/>Non refundable refundable waver payment extra after paid for apartment even though no damage to apartment.

Great stay, Tesco and beach near by. Ten minute walk to the old town.

Excellent location. Near the beach Dreamland. Clean and presentable interior. I would use again as an AirB&B location.

Everything, it was like renting the whole top floor of a house, I would definitely stay there again!<br/><br/>Nothing. Everything was great!

Lovely apartment

The apartment was really cozy and we had a lovely time in Margate. Kitchen facilities were especially great, with everything we needed, and we enjoyed the space a lot -- especially since it was February and we aren't drinkers, so for the most part we spent our evenings in. Location is very good, just a couple minutes' walk from the centre of town, and about 30 seconds from the water, which was all very nice and handy. Overall, nice place, good for a long weekend on the seaside.<br/><br/>There was only overhead lighting in the living room, which meant spending time there in the evenings wasn't quite as relaxing as it might have been. I would have loved a nice lamp. The living room could have used a throw or two as well, as it was quite chilly that weekend, and we ended up using the extra duvet to stay warm on the sofa. I also would have appreciated an extra shelf (or some kind of space) in the bathroom to store my toiletries bag (it ended up living on the floor). Nothing serious, but a couple of cosmetic things that would have made a nice difference :)

Venue, location, cleanliness and staff helpfullness<br/><br/>Venue was not prepared for third person as booked, but it was sorted in a timely matter. Security deposit ridiculous expensive, more than the stay and £100(!!!) cleaning fee

The apartment was very comfortable and light and airy. Lovely modern interior with everything we needed for our stay. Ideally situated westbrook end of margate and near to train station. great space, functional, great location<br/><br/>sink in bathroom was blocked, staff were great at messaging me until there was a problem and then they ignored my message about the sink. we’re helpful in agreeing to send some lost property back. would have been better to have a fitted sheet on the bed as the bottom sheet just slid off every night. some of the food left in the cupboards was out of date or smelt off.

Lovely place in an excellent location - so close to the sea and a very short walk from the station. Nearby there is a great shop selling local produce and a lovely pizzeria, short walk to Margate Old Town as well.<br/>The flat is a really good size for a one bedroom, lots of light and very comfortable.<br/>My partner and I loved our time here, we hope to stay again!

Great stay. Team were very helpful before and during stay. Place was very tidy and looked after. Very convenient location by the train station, just far away enough from the centre to not be disturbed during the night but also within walking distance.

The flat is in a perfect location, very close to the West Beach which we’d never swum at before and was a lovely surprise. It’s also really close to the station and a short walk into Margate old town and the main beach. The space is also huge and filled with light. It’s great to have amenities like a washing machine and space to dry clothes for a stay by the beach. The hosts have filled the flat with beautiful local art which we really admired. Loads of communication from the host and a super easy check in and out! <br/>When we arrived the space wasn’t super clean and there were a couple of glitches like the tv not working and the lamp bulb being blown. We did have a couple of issues with noisy neighbours as well unfortunately! <br/>Overall though - if you’re planning on doing lots and exploring Margate it’s a perfect base for a few nights or would make a good short term rental given how spacious the place is!

A good flat - neat, tidy, with everything you need. The sofa bed isn't very comfortable so might be worth reconsidering if you're 2 adults in need of separate beds. Also close to the trainline so you might hear the odd train or 2.<br/>Short walk to Margate and the old town, easy access to the beach.
