Property Details

The Space
Station View is situated in the very centre of Saltburn, with restaurants, shops and other local amenities right on the doorstep.

Once inside the property, you’ll be welcomed into the homely living room. Boasting a comfy sofa and matching armchair, the living space feels snug and welcoming. This really is a wonderful home from home and in here you can cuddle up here with your loved ones to enjoy quality time together. There is a Smart TV so you can keep enjoy peaceful evenings with your favourite shows.

With light wooden cabinets, smooth worktops and a white splashback, the kitchen is perfect for preparing meals in. Fully equipped for all stays, the kitchen boasts a fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, and toaster. It also includes the added luxuries of a dishwasher and washing machine.

The ideal space for enjoying home cooked meals and making plans for your stay, the dining area includes a round table and four chairs.

Head to the first floor where you’ll find the two bedrooms and bathroom. With an all-round cosy feel, both bedrooms are spacious and relaxing. There are lamps, bedside tables and light neutral-coloured walls. You’ll enjoy your night's sleep at Station View as both the double bed in the first bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom boast the finest quality bedding and linens.

With white, high shine stiped tiles and silver fittings, the family bathroom is an ultra-clean and modern space. It boasts a bathtub with a shower hose, a separate walk-in shower, along with a WC and basin.

Station View features a secure backyard with newly laid Indian Sandstone, complete with an outdoor cold tap and a sunroom at the rear entrance, perfect for unwinding and entertainment.

Neighborhood
Station View is located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast.

Located in the heart of the town, the property is only a short walk from the beach and lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.

Station View is close to all local amenities including independent shops, bars, restaurants and bistros.

Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and the lovely Saltburn is featured. If you fancy a 17.5 mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are beautiful!

Getting Around
Station View is within walking distance of all that Saltburn has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.

Saltburn Train Station is across the road from the property and has routes to Redcar, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Newcastle, York, Leeds and Manchester.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Saltburn. Hop on the Arriva North East route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby. The Moorsbus route has drop offs at Newton Under Roseberry, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Helmsley.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Station View are accessed via a key safe box and full details will be provided prior to check in.

Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle. Free on-street parking is also available nearby.

A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Station View per reservation.

A house that is perfect for 4; whether for a short or long stay. All you need in the house, parking and an enclosed back patio with seating. A great spot! Thank you for letting us stay there - we'll be back!

Business like accomodation with great location, we ate out every night of our 3, so cannot comment on facilities, but kitchen can be a squeeze with table, plus beyond the size of a fiesta or smaller, the offroad parking not an option, so you have to take your chances with parking spaces out front.<br/>Big plus is having Coco & Rum (Thai) next door, also the Ship Inn & Seaview restaurant nearby, all very reasonable.<br/>We travel extensively around the UK, so have experienced a lot, we found the constant marketing of this facility a chore, but otherwise functional

The house was very homely and the interior was a high standard. It was very clean and the beds were very comfy. Parking was easy and the location was good for shops and eateries. The rail station was opposite but the house was quiet and the area was peaceful. It was nice to be able to walk to the Promenade and beach where the views were amazing.<br/><br/>There wasn't anything to dislike.

Amazing location. Home from home. Extremely clean. Lovely, generous welcome gift on arrival. Kitchen was very well equipped. Easy free on street parking. Supermarket <1 min walk away. Wow, what an amazing place Station View is ! This holiday home is a great find to spend a few days away with friends or family. The owner has thought of everything for a relaxing chilled out stay. A fabulous house and beautiful furnished bedrooms as well as a well equipped kitchen. It’s also dog friendly which is perfect as there is a great beach to walk them on that’s only minutes away. We will definitely be returning. will definitely be recommending this property to our friends.

Brilliant little house, really nicely kept. Everything we needed. Nice extra touches with kids books and puzzles and a cake when we got there. Perfect location very close to shops and beach. <br/>In terms of Host and Stay, only involvement was the emails they sent and tried to ring them when finding the place and they didn’t answer. Was easy enough to find really (satnav just said it was on the roundabout, was off to the left just opposite railway station), but wanted confirmation about which parking space we were supposed to use.
