The property was perfect and everything inside was clean and comfortable. The village is lovely with really friendly neighbours and pub was also really friendly. No grass/green area in the garden. It being located in a pub car park. Needs a gate to give more privacy.
Withington is a lovely village with a great pub and lovely places to visit and walks close by. The accommodation is nicely furnished but lacks facilities you’d expect for accommodation listed as luxury ( no fans, iron, dishwasher , complementary toiletries). Being next to a pub car park and beer garden makes it feels overlooked and noisy in the evenings and mornings. We stayed when it was 32 degrees in July . The accommodation was extremely hot making being in the house very unpleasant despite having all windows and doors open, and making it difficult to sleep. We did ask for fans but were told none were available. The accommodation is nicely furnished and exactly how it looks in the photos but the slope of the upstairs bedroom ceiling is so low you can only stand in the centre of the room making getting in and out of bed difficult. There was no welcome hamper or shampoo, a problem for us as we arrived late and the closest shops are a 20 minute drive away.
